I cant find a non-serrated LUDT new or used, regardless of color... I'd pay a pretty penny for an LUDT, OD Green, Black, Blue, Turquoise, purple, Orange doesn't matter, Satin, Stonewashed Bronze doesn't matter... but I'd sell the farm for a OD green/bronze LUDT. I've heard reports of the LUDT being between 6/1000th's and 10/1000ths behind the edge.... wow, that's a lazer beam

I have an LUDT in tan w/Elmax. The handle cramps my big hand. But, all in all a great knife.

@@NeevesKnivesIt was! At first I was what are ya doing? What kind of grind on the XM-18? But that was not the overall point you were making, I believe. Its a perspective I have not seen in any body elses cut test video. Makes sense and opened my eyes alittle wider! Don't give away any of those knives, they were gifted to ya! Enjoy them, as was the intent I'm sure!

Testing with factory edges is pointless, imo. Blade geometry is a big variable that you can't change, but you can put the same edge on each knife to help make the tests more consistent.

Agreed, which I've done lots of testing like that this is an older video of mine but I do still have these models and all have been sharpened I wound up getting a deep hollow regrind on the Harsey which I'm soo happy about

I have the same spear point hinder xm18 3.5 except a different scale. I also have the No choil slicer 3.5. They all are great knives. Good Video Cheers from Canada.

If you were given those knives and he wanted you to have them then you should definitely keep them. It’s one thing if he asked you guys to, but those are a gift from an a “AMAZING” person brother enjoy those knives you guys deserves them.

Thanks JJ il definitely figure out a great gaw either way, the best gaw usually go to the patron members that way they have a better chance at winning when its done on the cannel, people that dont even watch the channel have a chance to win and id hate for someone to win that doesnt even care about the knife over someone that would be super happy to win one

You summed it up ! Blade geometry , I have the microtech socom elite auto. drop point very good , the C.R.K. Inkosi small with that deep hollow grind is a pocket sized Hercules , nice video and demonstration !

Yeah totally, but they all had good factory edges and in most cases people use there factory edge for a long time or as long as they can, i was basically trying to show from the factory which cuts better, and after ive sharpened them and one seems to cut better than the other then il say it, but i doubt that will happen, the will all definitely cut better but i doubt that one will cut better than the other one that i also sharpened, but if it does i will say it
