It also depends on genetics, gender, and diet. (Since females, on average, get longer than males. We have like 3 vertibrae from titanboa. Everything we know about them is pure speculation. I wouldn't be all that surprised if they later decided that the vertibrae wasn't even from a snake at all. People made some CRAZY assumptions when those vertibrae were discovered. We have no other bones from them. Its crazy to me that people wont stop talking about them. Its also crazy that ANYONE thinks the green anaconda is the heaviest living snake. If you look at actual records from verified animals, both burmese pythons and reticulated pythons have weighed over 100lbs MORE than any verified anaconda. People need to pay attention to facts and not just what they "feel like" gets bigger. Hollywood movies aren't real life.

I disagree with his statement. In equal length, the Green Anaconda weigh almost twice as heavy compared to a Reticulated Python. For 32 foot Reticulated Python discovered. There are 2 rare videos of a massive female Green Anaconda's that could match or surpass Reticulated Python maximum record. Hard to tell, especially without a proper measuring tool in the video to scale the exact length. But one particular female in the videos, she looks like a clone miniature descendent of a "Titanoboa".
