why the fuck does everyone think that jaime lannister is evil in the first place? the whole point of his character is that he wasn't that evil in the first place anyway. He's just really misunderstood. In the first couple of seasons/books it appears he is evil because the POV characters think he is the most dishonorable douch in the realm and he throws bran out of a window. One of the major themes in the books is that POV characters get deceived and are very biased. And the Starks (who are over half the chapters) are really biased against lannisters and on top of that Littlefinger tricks them into believing they killed Jon Arryn. The only objectively evil thing he did was pushing Bran out of the tower.

Man, I'd love to play Ser Barristan. The man's gone through more than a lifetime's worth of kings, seen all of them die, and is still alive to question his value as a Kingsguard. His storyline in A Dance with Dragons is incredibly contemplative and compelling. I can't wait for Season 5/6/7/whenever that happens!
