Which PC games do you remember from your childhood?

Mollie hailed from the Learning Land while Lauren was an enjoyer of Humongus Entertainment, but did any of those favorite genres stick with us as adults? And did anyone ever discover The Sims any way other than a friend showing it to them?

Another gamer that started out on the early Apple computers. I really don't know what I played first, but early ones were the Eamon adventures (public domain text adventures), Zork, Lemmings, Deathmaze 2000 (you start the game, take one step forward, and get killed by an invisible guillotine), and Artillery. Oh, and some Olympics game.

... The Sims, LOL .... I was in my late teens when Maxis (Studio which made the SimCity games) announced that their next game would simulate people instead of a city. At the time most PC gamers thought that was probably a dumb idea.... My first games on PC (IBM Compatible) were things like Populous, Lemmings, Kings Quest series, Ultima series...
