Besides staying healthy, if they can stop the run on defense, and can run the ball on offense. They will make the playoffs. Add a good pass rush and they could be a dangerous team. I think they have a better chance of having a good pass, and a poor run defense. I am afraid it's going to be a long season watching the defense trying to stop 3rd down and 2 or less yards. While the offense has a lot of 3rd and 7 yards. They have to avoid holding calls.

We looked at Peat as a borderline bust his whole career in New Orleans. We were always talking about moving on from him. And what most people don't realize is his Dad, Todd Peat, played 3 years with the Raiders. I think he just wanted a fresh start for a team that really wanted him, and a team that didn't view him as a disappointing, under achieving, draft pick. That's got to weigh on you after a while. We never really appreciated Peat. Last year, Peat had to agree to a salary cut to even stay on the team, and he only became a starter after we got desperate. He was our last resort, and only got to play when we ran out of other options.

Are we intenionally removing the context around those numbers? No adjustment for garbage time compiling throughout the year, no mention of the fact those last few games were against GARBAGE teams?
