One thing I'd recommend is leaving the engine cover off and hood up and fire up the car, rev lightly to make sure there isn't any missing. I had a coil that I didn't plug in just right and it was missing and I had to virtually open everything back up again to diagnose. Great video as always!

Very easy to follow and spot on DIY, thank yo so much! Only thing i'd comment is that it would be easier to remove the plastic trim piece that goes above the foam insulation towards the back of the engine and then just re-install the foam before putting the trim back on.

It would be nice if you offered Fx0 or Gx0 performance and/or regular maintenance packages with all the best matching parts to target those looking for performance mods or just better than OEM parts for maintenance. Like a 3 tier, good, better, best for suspension, engine, or just for aesthetics.

I'm running full stock on my N55 so I'm using the Bosch OE plug that I replaced at 49k miles. Still I have the charge pipe upgrade and M Performance exhaust.

I have a 2012 535i I’m currently running a stage 2 tune with all bolt ons and e30. Getting ready to swap the plugs out as well. What should I gap the plugs to for this setup?

I would replace the coil packs when you're already in there changing out the sparks. Last thing you want is to do all that work and have to do it all over if one of the coils are faulty or on the way out. Plus, with FCP you have lifetime warranty so you only pay for a set of new sparks and coils once!

what if for those n13 engine stage 2 . those oem borsh plug is it still ok to gap 0.022 or even stock too? Some said and forum said all the n13/n20 also are better with 0.022 gap?

Should just use the oem bosch plugs. Of you have problems with them then go one step colder or tighten the gap. Bosch are fragile to gapping tho. 435i fbo stage 2 e30 with stock bosch, runs strong!

I’m having issues with the Ngk 97506. I get a choppy idle at lower gap, and miss up top at .26. So should I use the stock? I’m on an e40 blend fbo m2

does anyone know what those bolts are on either end of the brace bar is? Bryan says they should be replaced, but does not say what bolts they are.... M10 hex? M12 Hex? 75 mm, 125 mm, 100 mm?

Do I have to gap my oem plugs too if I don't have mods? How bout the ngk plugs? If I don't have mods do I have to gap them too? I just had a misfire [drivetrain malfunction] while in the highway trying to go fast. Can that be the culprit? Anyone know? Can an aftermarket plug with no gap create a misfire problem?

The ones that came from Amazon are $6.30 a piece, the ones at ORiely are like $16 a piece only diff. Make sure to check the gap, out of 6 only 1 was gapped correctly

I have similar stage with mods and I just installed the 97506 at .032 and they work great. I will try in the future with tighter gaps to see if they work better. The tighter gapping is to reduce flame out conditions. I noticed in the past that the larger the gap without flameout is more powerful. My car is fast as heck for what mods I did and runs great.
