I think of it this way: for fighting Gojo it's Meguma. For fighting anyone else it's heian Sukuna.

This video made me realize that a 20F Yujikuna or Heian Era (pre-world slash) vs Gojo would’ve been a much more interesting fight. It wouldn’t have made sense for Sukuna to lose to Gojo with 10S. He was given the entire playbook, an adaption method that took most of the damage for him, experiencing UV for himself within Yuji’s body, being able to hide in the shadows, a Shikigami that can adapt to anything, that he can learn from, and a 1000 year old sorcerer telling him exactly how Gojo’s abilities work. He had plenty prep and all the counters needed to win.

I like to think Meguna is the utility build while the Heian era is the berserker build. against opponents that can't be brought down with brute force alone Meguna is superior, but Heian era can overwhelm his opponents with his strength and additional limbs.

It's a very easy question to answer. The narrator literally said the 4 arms form gives him an advantage over ANY sorcerer and then told us why - He is able to beat the breaks out of you, and also perform any of his techniques that are already powerful enough to one-shot you at the same damn time. Mahoraga isn't adapting from the shadows if his Sukuna gets slashed in half in the real world.

I think by the time Sukuna got Megumi's body, even tho its not stated, he had Nue inherit great snake, contributing to its massive size, the fact its tail turns into a snake, and Sukuna's Nue's eyes were similar to how Agito's were. Also, with him wearing the wheel, it was implied he can see through Yorozu's technique through the adaptation

He’s probably “stronger” per se in terms of power. But with ten shadows Sukuna is able to fight however he wants. He play defensive and stall you out like he did with Gojo and he can go fully on offense. He’s just way more tactical w ten shadow. Compared to Sukuna w full fingers that just gonna over power anyone. So in terms of would win I think it’d be 52/48 with a slight edge to ten shadows

Sukuna in Megumi’s body is like creator mode in a video game lmao

Meguna is the best for fighting someone like Gojo or Takaba, who have very niche Cursed Techniques that can't be traditionally overwhelmed. But Heian is overall the best option. He's just overwhelmingly faster and offensively stronger in this form. Being able to do hand signs while chanting to strengthen his attacks WHILE he's beating the shit out of you is just way too strong. He hits harder with his bare hands than Mahoraga can (15F Sukuna was blocking punches with his fingers at some points in Shibuya)

I'm gonna hold of on that decision until we see what "the shrine/ open ■" is fully capable of. Dunno just feels like a gigantic checkovs gun since Gege is holding it back *this* long.

I can see why this is a debate but the manga has made it pretty clear than True form is superior or more like given statements and feats that shows why og form is superior. U got the narrator saying that the extra arms and mouth are the BIGGEST advantage a sorcerer can have and its makes sense. Got better raw strength and a signifcant speed boost. While it may seem like Meguna is superior due to its versatility in abilities I feel like og form Sukuna just wins cause of the edge the above mentioned stuff gives him. I feel like I'm forgetting something might edit this later if I remember it. The strongest of an era called it perfection before getting manhandled and waffled.

It's worth keeping in mind meguna can technically still use the world slash via mahoraga (as it's literally who he learned it from).

Sukuna also can adapt to everything he sees himself he’s done it before in the series obviously not on the same level as mahoraga but sukuna is genuinely just that good

Heian form Sukuna clears, unless it’s about developing new techniques. Then Mahoraga is invaluable. Heian Form Sukuna > Meguna for strength/power Meguna > Heian Form Sukuna for growth Also it’s crazy that 10S allows you to hide in the shadows yet that usage is so incredibly underutilized by both Megumi and Sukuna.

I don't really think we can say. Since we don't even know the extent of Sukuna's technique, we don't even really know what it is, other than the Arrow and Dismantle/Cleave. But considering Gojo said during his fight with Sukuna that he was holding back, then I'd assume that the Shrine Form is stronger, because it seemed like Gojo considered Sukuna's domain expansions to be a bigger threat than Mahoraga.

I think people forget Meguna can also use shrine and the world cutting slash. And can switch to 10 shadows when needed. So I’ll pick Meguna overall.

10S was just a way to learn to cut infinity just as he said that he used maho as a model to cut infinity, And in chap 238 it was stated that 2 extra arms + extra mouth is the greatest advantage a sorcerer can have so basically its even better than 6 eyes ad with his weapons he is unmatched without a doubt heian era sukuna destroys Meguna(without space slash) and yujikuna current Sukuna is the strongest tho

The one issue I have with this is that Megkuna can freely switch between Shrine and 10 Shadows. Sure, he can't use both at the same time, but that is a massive advantage.

We know that in the beginning of his fight with Kashimo, Sukuna resumed his incarnation into his prime body to heal himself without rct. That was a Meguna feat because prime sukuna does not have that ability in his bag

12:00 he told kashimo to dodge it even with that he arm was cut off so it's not like he shot and kashimo dodged it just like that and mahoraga was able to take gojo black flashes because it already adapted to blue(gojo enhances his punches with blue)

I think in this video we all forget that Sukuna can still use 10 Shadows. The reason he doesn’t imo is because the bond between the divine dogs and Sukuna may be soul related due to the amount of time the divine dogs were with Megumi. Now if this statement is false the final divine dog now has the power of all the other destroyed shikigami including mahoraga. Sukuna still has 10 Shadows and if needed he could still choose to sink into the shadows the only reason he doesn’t is because he is fully aware that he has no need to go on the defensive. Should he need to vs Yuta or anyone in the upcoming gauntlet we will see 10 shadows again. Assuming he chooses to use it over other techniques in his shrine.

Before the video I was quite sure about megumi sekuna being stronger. I think he still didn't reach his heights. I think it might be possible to combine Maharagoa with other shicugami. I think it might be possible to use abilities of 10sh yourself (insane positive energy, weel adaptations, elecricity) I think Shadows could be utilized to higher extend - to hide weapons, to jump oponentt (ofc), to dodge attacks or even to hide I didn't think megumi sucuma is restricted in his schrine mode at all, besides his effiency, speed - number of slashes casted at once (due to his extra hands and mouths) but that he restriced himself, because he found out his slashes cannot cut thought infinity and so that he could trick gojo into beliving he need to use hand sights to cast them - like he did for fist time. Now I think in his prime form his slashes can propably also be more devastating + casting speed and efficienty. Which still leads me to believe that meg.sukuna is suprerior. But I admit it would be fair to add weapons to prime sukuna, unfortunately we dont know much about them. Sukuna also seems to hide his abilities.

While i agree shrine sukuna > megkuna, i have to say i like 10 shadows, specifically Mahoraga, a lot for a completely crazy reason. It basically shows how broken Orihime could have been with Shun Shun Rikka with it being debatable if SSR is better. Mahoraga adapts to all phenomena whole SSR rejects all phenomena. We see it's so damn busted, it can fully resurrect someone, to being able to withstand Yhwach's attacks. What kept its offensive capabilities so low was Origime's lack of killing intent. All of her will and power came from her desire to protect people (also a great way to keep an otherwise broken ability from being well....broken lol). But Mahoraga kind of shows what someone with the ability to literally reject ANYTHING from happening could be like. Completely random ik lol. Love the content as always ❤

Sukuna in Megumi's body kind of has an unfair advantage with ten shadows because it can sacrifice Megumi's soul for Mahoraga's adaptation, under normal circumstances it's much harder to use Mahoraga. If it wasn't for that gojo could have one shot it.

i just realized how consistent it is that Megumi's shadows naturally always far outclass him in certain stats. wolf being faster than him and stuff and mahoraga being extremely powerful compared to him. and the same applied to Sukuna seeing how he literally got oneshot by 1 black flash from Gojo, and Mahoraga had to tank the other black flashes for him.

Meguna is way more broken that you think and didn't even showed the full extent of his abilities. Be it dismissing shikigami right before gojo destroyed them and summoning them again for sneak attacks or partially using deer to heal himself, or using the shadows to misbalance gojo and create openings (*like megumi did to toji) or using the other shadows while gojo was busy with the 3v1 (*like using ce enhanced giant toads to halt gojo and use maho to attack + I didn't even mentioned the shadow divine dogs he used against yorozu) Also about the final purple : Sukuna could've used the shadows to hide himself or could've dropped a ce enhanced giant elephant to fall on top of the red to stop the purple instead of screaming maho + i don't know how piercing blood travels with the speed of sound yet gojo somehow got enough time to spell incantations before it reached the red, like Gojo's words are faster than speed of sound now. But then again its obvious that gege was glazing gojo to make us fall right into his trap 😭

6:30, the thing is the nue he had was Nue with the serpents power, like it has a giant tail and its face doesn't match the one of Nue. Meaning we don't know how much of a power boost sukuna gave it or if the new Nue would just always be that strong. because we see that the dogs combined are many times stronger then them being separate. You might say "MAhoraga was obviously stronger" and that's true, but the three times mahoraga was summoned he was mid adapting to a persons stats aswell. Like when he was summoned against Yorusu he was definitely stronger then Megumi's, but he also took multiple attacks by Yoruzu meaning his stats would have been increased because of him adapting to take the blows. Also they are shikigame, not Cursed spirits. Like nowhere has it been said that more cursed energy means stronger Shikigame, they are living things that get summoned by a user, they are the same always, the elephant Megumi summoned in the school fighting arc is the same as in culling game. 12:00, Sukuna actually says "Look out" before even starting his cut, meaning Kashimo definitely had more time then what normally would be provided. 13:35, we actually don't know if its needed, we have seen it 3 times, only once has he shown to use incantations, while once he had 1 arm and saying incantations would spark suspicion in gojo. Ten Shadows are effectively equal to the Limitless, and Gojo himself outright stated his technique is superior to Sukuna's shrine techniques while tanking its barrage of slashes: ergo, Meguna beats Heian Era Sukuna, as Gojo would have. Only through Maharaga's example on how to bypass Infinity did Sukuna gain the world-cutting slash (stating himself he COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT without the wonderful model provided by Maharaga), thus elevating current four-armed Sukuna. If they were up against each other Megkuna would actually wreck Shrine Kuna for a few reasons. Mahaorga would be resistant to the slashes because he's made from Sukuna curse energy. He could see the slashes and adapt easily because of how simple the attack is. So Megkuna would have the advantage.

The thing about JJK fights is that skill sets compatibility in fights is very important. Someone fighting Ten shadows form might be better off fighting the Heian form and vice versa. For instance, Yuji can punch and kick Sukuna all he indefinitely, how would that go against Mahoraga though🧐see what I mean? Also, I think the fire arrow was something out of Yuji’s arsenal. That said I suspect Yuji’s cursed technique is Free Manipulation of cursed energy. This explains why he hasn’t used the fire or anything similar since, as well as explaining why Sukuna said that Kenjaku was ‘nasty’ when fighting Yuji and Megumi. Because the amount of skill it would take to master such a limitless ability is far beyond Yuji’s capabilities. Sukuna didnt need 10s for Gojo. It wa confirmed by Gojo that Sukuna was fighting riskier just so Mahoraga could adapt. Sukuna already cut Gojo up in the domain and was going hand to hand with him with domain amplification. Sukuna also tanked 2 amped purples where Mahoraga couldnt survive one. And then sukuna said he only needed Maharoga for a model to improve cleave. Even Gojo almost taking out Sukunas heart, lungs and liver didnt do anything and Sukuna was still alive. The "no greater advantage" thing shouldnt be taken literally. What about 1000 hands? Surely better than 4. The point is that it allows a passive buff on top of your regular abilities instead of being two separate actions. 1000 hands still can't cut "space", maharaga was needed for that. But the on the other hand maharaga can't passively buff and attack at the same time. One is more specialized the other is more generally applicable

at 6:40, that wasn't Nue, it was Nue + the great serpent totality, which is why its size is soo large. I'm not actually sure the size of Sukuna's summons are larger than that of Megumi's. The rabbits were the same size, and so was the elephant. Mahoraga seems to be larger, but i'd personally attribute that to inconsistent art from Gege.

Meguna basically because he has two techniques he can flip flop between the 10 Shadow or his technique whatever that is. He can basically hide in the shadows lets his minions do the work and learn from it If it wasn't for Gojo being so insanely powerful entire cast will be done for Maho alone solos the majority of cast

Although Gojo said Sukuna didn't give it his all, Gojo was forced to use ONLY blue for 90% of the fight to prevent mahoraga from adapting. Gojo was forced to hold back purely due of mahoraga, I can see Gojo winning if Sukuna didn't have 10 shadows.

In terms of a fight I'd say Meguna is better for hax fighters like Gojo, he's still crazy strong though however its clear in terms of stats Gojo is far superior to Meguna. As for True Form Sukuna he should be bare minimum 40% stronger than Sukuna since well look at him he's clearly much more physically inclined so the Curse Energy Reinforcement would be higher but this is just a theory since it's only stated he gets 2 arms and extra chants as for a comparison in stats he's still below Gojo but he would fair better than his Meguna Form

I dont udertand why peaple are so teamup with one version or another. Guys, both version are Sukuna, in both version he will can do every hability he knows. The main difference here is, you prefere more arms, a phisically stronger body, and 1 extra mouth, or the ten shadowns? Beside this, all the others things, both can do. With >I< would chose one, it will be Meguna. Because i will be able to switch to ten shadowns any time i want, and switch back if i want too. I will can be agressive, and deffensive, depend the situation. But overall i think both are equivalent in general.

One thing I was never clear on is whether Megumi-sukuna and Yuuji-sukuna can use their seemingly infinite mouths. We've seen Sukuna spawn an extra mouth randomly across his body multiple times (I recall seeing him bite a slash aimed at his neck? or something?) for various reasons. True sukuna has his extra mouth on his torso, but could Megumi-sukuna not viably have dozens of mouths open across his body for chanting purposes? In theory that should be helpful, even if it's a bit nerfed relative to true sukuna having the extra arms for hand signs.
