Which UE Boom Should You Get? UE Boom 3 vs MegaBoom 3 vs Wonderboom 3

The Ultimate Ears Boom series is perhaps one of the most iconic bluetooth speakers out there, but which one should you get, the original UE Boom 3, the mega UE Megaboom or the tiny UE Wonderboom? I try out all three and come to a verdict!

These will all get refreshed with USB-C charging at some time early in 2024 to comply with EU regulations. Which means more sale prices for the old models or wait for the new/better charging option if you’re okay paying more.

I love my megaboom 3. I got it on sale at best buy. It goes everywhere with me. Edit: that mini usb is so sad haha but honestly at least on the mb3 its prbly the best mini usb port ive ever had to use

Tbh I think boom 3 is the best choice great sound affordable and really strong I think is the best choice for people who likes high end the mega boom 3 and if you are like a person that camps prob go to wonder boom

Do you know how to turn off the power off on sound because the volumne of the noise that the boom 3 makes when turning on or off or power indicating sound is far too loud so I cant use them in the evenings. As well the app and speaers will not stay connected to my mobile phones and tablets, it only stays connected to my pc but I do not know if there is an app for the pc, so the app for the mobiles is pointless because it disconnects and turns and then every 30 seconds i have to endure the loud sound of it turning off and on again.

I got the megaboom 3 and my sister has the wonderboom 3. I figured the megaboom would be way louder and more bass. The wonderboom 3 sounds better than megaboom 3 For some reason the megaboom 3 barely has bass even when put with the equalizer. I would stick with a wonderboom 3 if your on a budget. I however am on a quest for better speakers. I recently discovered the apple HomePods 2. I just ordered some. They also have the mini home pod for $100. Also imo the JBL charge 3 sounds better than ue. A lot more bass on JBL plus overall sound quality.

Is the wonderboom a lot lighter than the boom? I just got a boom 3, but it’s a little heavy. If the wonderboom is a lot lighter, I’d feel better getting that for travel.

I have wonderboom 2, is the boom3 a good upgrade? I saw some reviews saying the boom 3 doesnt play while charging. My wonderboom works just fine. Can you confirm?

The Boom 3 is a great upgrade for its ability to pair with other Boom speakers, but the sound quality might not be as large an upgrade as you might expect

@@DavisFangTech looking for something in the portable option. Mostly I watch movies and 20% time songs. The bose flex looks little big to carry around, so is the marshal emberton2. Any suggestions?

Have boom 3 and mega boom 3. Bass 0.6 , 0.8 Mid 1.4 Treble 2.0 , 2.2 turn up as loud as you want with full sound. iPhone settings in music put eq on loudness, in Accessibility, audiovisual turn on headphone accommodation and put on Brightness and put the bar on strong 💪 Spotify users in settings in playback turn on audio normalisation and put it on loud and the equaliser on dance😎👍👍

Whoa what does changing the settings in accessibility do? You sound like you really know what you’re talking about. I’ve got a simple question, with these booms, can you crank the volume on the boom, and then have separate control from the phone? Or does the boom volume turn up the main volume? Because on my Bose soundlink, I can crank the speaker, and it has no effect on the phones actual volume, it’s great for at night when everyone is sleeping, I can fine tune my volume like crazy. Where as with my monster s310 (bought it as a work speaker), the volume control on it absolutely sucks. I’m glad I got that one for half price, I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise. And the booms are on sale now so I’m looking 😂
