Just use acid sprayers. Melt the mandos out of their armor. Industrial acids are cheap and readily available. Or fire. Non-ballistic weaponry is the way to go.

The Dark Saber, made by the only Mandalorian Jedi, has the ability to melt Beskar, it still takes a while. That is why the blade has its special design.

The best weapon to defeat almost any armor is a dagger. Ideal for exploiting gaps or sliding between plates. That being said if the wearer is shooting at you, stabing them would prove a challenge.

Since contemporary Mandalorians wear various forms of Super Commando armor, there is a lot of non-armored area. I would use area effect weaponry. Concusion weapons like you mentioned, flame weapons and fragmentation weapons. If you inflict sufficient damage on the non-armored body parts, you will defeat the mandalorian.

Great video, some quick research leads me to believe that power of a round is often measured in foot-pounds. This measures a completely different thing than newtons. Your comment on a 50 bmg's power, would be based on the assumption that a bullet keeps accelerating continuously (acceleration x mass = force). Maybe you are interested, or someone can tell me if I'm wrong.

I think the main thing people ignore us that there are basically no Mandalorians that wear full body Beskar (Iron Man Style), meaning if you can aim right, then you can easily just hit the un armoured parts of their body. From what I’ve seen, Jango Fett is the closest too this, and yet he still died.

I would go the route of a 100mm tank cannon. Even if the Bes'kar holds up to the assault, the sheer kinetic force means that the weak fleshy material behind it will not. He certainly will not be anywhere near the same position either.

It isn't that difficult to defeat Beskar when you get down to it. - In melée: this is actually something we figured out _centuries_ ago. Stab them through the joints of the armour, or simply apply enough blunt force to break the limbs at the joints and rip the armour off the poor helpless bastard (and then stab him). - Mid-range: did you know that a real, liquid-fuel flamethrower is a terrifying weapon? It's not like the puny thing most people think of. It takes the form of a stream of gurning fluid or gel, which splashes, flows, sticks to objects, and can reignite even if you put it out the first time. Additionally, it tends to consume a lot of oxygen and produce a lot of suffocating fumes. - Long range: powerful kinetic rounds are the obvious answer. A decently-good personal railgun would be my first choice, although a high-caliber machinegun is a very good option as well. It doesn't have to pierce the armour, it just has to shake the poor bastard hard enough that his brain gets pulped against the inside of his own skull, or his neck just snaps from the raw kinetic force. - From ambush: Beskar is a ferrous alloy metal. This means that it is strongly magnetic. At this point, the sky is the limit. Use an induction heater to have his own armour burn him alive. Use multiple magnetic fields to physically rip him apart. Pin him to the ground and crush him with the magnetic plates of his armour. Just hold him in place and start yanking the armour off his body until you see something fleshy that bleeds when you stab it. The possibilities are limited only by your bloodlust. Bonus Forceful options: Force Choke, Force Crush, or Sith Lightning are all very good options here, as is just using Force Push to bash him against a wall until he stops moving and/or breathing.

As for being resistant to lightsabers, beskar is a perfect base material to use for the creation of a lightsaber hilt. Could be handy for making the Tsuba to block against lightsaber strikes.

Specifically, the lack of black body radiation during casting/forging seems to imply that electrical currents/sonic-to-ultrasonic frequencies might cause the metal to weaken or melt in the right combination. This could also mean that Geonosian sonic weapons could be a good choice.

I agree with your assessment that pure concussive force is the way to go to defeat Beskar armor. One thing to note in the season 2 finale of the Mandalorian when Din Djarin was fighting the Dark Trooper. One moment during the fight Din was pinned against the wall and the Dark Trooper repeatedly punched him in the head so hard that it dented the wall behind him. No matter how strong Beskar is Din's head should have been a ball of mush from bouncing inside that helmet of his at least it should have been severed from his body. Physics is fun isn't it?

I always understood that the reason why beskar does well against a lightsaber and blasters is because the molecular structure is very efficient at diffusing heat and energy. The effectiveness against kinetic solid slugs in terms of penetration is still up for debate since it's rarely touched on in legends and canon.

Maybe the API (Armor piercing incendiary)round. When it hits a hard surface it explodes sending a hardened penetrator core through the armor followed by the framing gas from the explosion. A lot of high calibers including 50 BMG will have this kind of round

You cannot piece bear though you can basically shoot until you get enough concussive blows to break bones or until finding an opening, that is how they dealt with the jet troopers in the third season

I imagine a little forethought is all that is needed to take out a mando. The armor provides incredible protection to the chest and head. In some cases the legs, pelvis, and abdomen are not armored. This is of course to increase mobility. Most people are taught to aim center mass(the chest). One must recognize they are dealing with a Mandalorian and aim for pelvis and legs. All that is protecting these areas is a cloth body suit. The other option is to engage hand to hand and slip a knife in between the small gaps in the armor( it’s a Hail Mary play but better than nothing).

I believe you misspelled Beskar. At least I have never seen it being written that way. The word for "armour" in mando'a is "beskar'gam" - literrally "suit of iron". But I believe beskar itself isn't divided by an apostroph, as these indicate a noticable pause in the word and/or change it's pronounciation or stress in a signifficant way.

There is one way you missed. Shatterpoint could crumple Beskar. Jacen Solo uses it in Legacy of the Force: Invincible while dealing with a Manalorian kill squad.
