😮Yup, you can do what you want Meg, and I was also very glad Ben said you were not prepping that garden bed by yourself. Yes do what you want, AND let your family take care of you, and fuss over you a little bit. It's good for them to be mindful over you.

As long as you don't start a very strenuous exercise that your body is not use to, and over due. You can do anything. I was pregnant and rode horses, farmed and worked a job. You won't break.

the younger boys too and not saying the older boys don't contribute either ,especially with serious tasks and will use the tractor and welder etc whenever they can. When they finish school they will have so many skills for earning their keep and understand and appreciate what life requires and value of being a reliable team player by all.

I've been watching some of the older videos in between the current videos. Today I watched the video immediately after Buggy was born. When Meg was describing how fast the delivery went she said that Buggy came out full speed ahead and they were going to have their hands full with this one. That absolutely cracked me up because she truly called that one right from the beginning lol! Then Ben commented how tiny she was and said she was their little bug and it clicked for me how she got her nickname. And it never ceases to amaze me how much different they all look now than they did just a few years ago! Definitely one of my favorite KZfaq channels

I continued to mow the yard, work the garden the whole summer I was pregnant. The day before my 2nd child was born, I push mowed the yard and was canning tomatoes. That evening started having contractions. Got my daughter a bath and cleaned up, we then walked down the street to visit my Mom and let her know that by tomorrow we should a new baby in the family. My son was born the next morning at 8am. I think it helps to stay active during a pregnancy. Meg will know what she can do and when to rest. I just get the biggest smile watching Buggy help out.

For some reason I can't post a comment, only a reply opens up a text box for me this comment is closest to the subject I wanted to speak on😊 Meg, work is good while pregnant and I trust you know your body and limits. I was nearly ridiculous with my last pregnancy (and a lot older than with my first two)...in my last 6 weeks of pregnancy I built two decks and a series of handicap ramps for my Mother who had recently become paralyzed from spinal tumors, started a big pool deck at my home (eventually surrounded the above ground pool) and built an 8x12 mudroom addition on my home (put the last cupboard up & finished the painting at 4pm Friday, had my Son at 10am Saturday). My husband kept asking me when I was going to realize I was pregnant...what I realize for sure, after having two kids, is I need to get er done while I'm only on my time, lord knows when I'll get long chunks of time after the baby comes! Turns out it was my last hurrah, the last baby was a handful and I got into a terrible accident when he was two ending my physically able to do great things era.

Hi, I used to make shepard's pie for my kids, I'd sautee, onion, celery, diced or grated carrots, finely diced zucchini , salt, pepper, thyme, then when it was cooked I'd cook in the mince (ground beef) meat and some tomato sauce, then I would top it with mashed potato and brown it in the oven, delicious. I also worked on our 17 acre steep farm even in labor, mowing, carting hay, feeding animals, we know our bodies

My mother did everything normal when she was pregnant, including scrubbing down all the walls in the whole house with the rest of the spring and fall big cleaning. You could tell, because my brother loved rocking in the chair since he had rocked in her womb. And I was always active. You know your own limits. Can you give the potato bread recipe measurements please , as it turned out soooo delicious!!! As usual for you Meg. :) Any day that you all haven't posted, is a day I miss you more.

I did wonder at just how many comments I would read until someone would point this out. It seems to be a common thing to use beef across the pond and call it shepherds pie. Its just one of the differences between Queens/Kings English and American English and I recon its something that we will just have to put up with as the Americans wont change.

Doesn't matter if you all are eating breakfast, lunch, or supper, you always starve me to death!!!🥰 Your potato bread is beautiful!!! My mom used to make potato rolls...so good!! Loved seeing you all starting the new garden season and soaking up that vitamin D!! Now I'm craving applesauce cake! Hey Meg, whenever I have leftover mashed taters, I sometimes make potato cakes. Add some flour to stiffen them up, finely diced onion, black pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese; then patty it out and fry. Sooo good. I can make a meal on fried tater cakes! P.S. Ben, that compost looks so rich and beautiful!!

I like to make potato rolls on a fairly regular basis,I love how reliable they are (even when I get distracted and overproof them! I made some with bacon, egg and cheese in them and they were delicious! I cooked the bacon and soft scrambled some eggs and baked the rolls with the filling in them, obviously could fill them with whatever you like! I'm so happy to see you're feeling good Meg and wanting to be out and about ❤ you know what you feel up to and what you don't. Fortunately you have a wonderful husband that supports you. A huge thank you to you guys for taking so much of your time to video and edit and all the stuff that goes with it so we can enjoy watching your wonderful family! So much love to all of you!!
