Especially when you’re chasing one and then a different demon goes into the glory kill state, and then you just keep getting hit back.

They spam them all the time and hit you mid air 90% of the time, if you dodge them they fucking heatseek your ass and make 14 circles around you before hitting you and hitting like a fucking cargo plane

This Is My Most Hated Enemy In The Game. They Are Usually The UN Destroyer For Me And When Coupled With Carcasses? Well I Got Nothing More To Say Because Im Dead By The Time These Two Tag Together Against Me.

Max out destroyer blade, one d-blade charge kills carcasses two staggers whiplashes, and 3 kills whiplashes, this is also a great way to deal with invisible whiplash :)

Very insightful video! I like how you analysed the attacks and enemy behaviour. If you decide to make more enemy analysis videos maybe include some strategies to deal with them, for example using lock on rockets or icebomb against whiplashes are quite effective

Something else you could add is easy instakills on each demon, like the destroyer blade shown. Lock on rocket will also instakill, super shotgun if shot close enough, with a little rng on the spread, can setup for a glory kill, flame belch and another meat hook should finish off if some miss. Another nice way to finish off heavys is microwave beam till it’s just about to die, then meathook straight into glory kill. Use on fodder for quick health and armour. 👍 Love the vid.

i didnt even know that the power attack will stop tracking you if you are above the whiplash i have 2000 hours in this game by the way

I'm kinda glad they added the whiplashes, they balanced to be tactical, and offensive to the loop. Most the others besides the carcass, are mostly slept on. But the whiplash is my second favorite, first would be the the carcass Carc Blocking mofos lol

The arm break glory kill made my roommate who was casually watching while talking with friends in the same room shout "WOAH" hahaha! And the triple horizontal chop is so fucking satisfying too

love lock-on to destroy the whiplashes, but in beginning of cultist base (especially on un) they can be a hurt enemy

For those of you looking for combos: Plasma rifle heat blast -> rocket will result in a glory kill stagger. Remote detonation rocket-> plasma rifle heat blast -> super shotgun: dead The hardest these guys get is in the Cultist Base before you have all your gear.

Even tho there are higher priority demons in the game than a whiplash. (Cyber manc for example). I will always kill this fucking snake first. Never have i hated a single enemy more than her. ID did an amazing job with the whiplash.
