I don't think she's just being picky. She accepted the hemorrhoid commercial, a role in Diary of Anne Frank above the bowling alley, and the stupid gorilla movie, because she understood she had to start from the bottom. I'm just pointing out that when she likes what she does, she puts more effort into it. Like in the Streetcar Named Desire, she was really great in it, as Sheldon and Amy pointed out. She was also excited fot her role in NCIS. And even in the 2nd gorilla movie, she still tried to work hard for it even though the script was so bad. But it was the director that didn't care about the movie.

They all have schedules, work, girlfriends and ect... and that was the day they set aside to do it. I can't really blame them for sticking to it because if they reschedule who knows when they'd get around to it or if something else would come up.

Right, blame the friends. Blame everyone except Sheldon. Everything has to revolve around him. It's not as if they have their own life and schedule, right?

I'm not saying that Sheldon is innocent and that he's right all the time, but if they been friends with him for a long time and they know exactly how he is, then I felt it was only fair to work out a plan to reschedule. Raj said that he wanted to have a gaming weekend with the fellas which included Sheldon right? So I'm just saying that it would have been fair, if they had just came up with a better date and time. If you wanna talk about having lives, then we can use that to the advantage. Because all of them are in a relationship (except for Raj) and they could be doing something else with their women, but Sheldon wanted to hangout with his friends instead of going to a party, seems highly accurate, especially knowing he didn't want to be left out. And as we saw in the end of the episode, he didn't even understand or know that Amy was upset or why it was important to her until she pointed it out. I say it was his friends fault in a way because they know when it comes to relationships, Sheldon is not an expert, so they should have told him at the comic book store, that he should just go hangout with Amy, get to know her family, and they'll play when he got back. They was up all night so they had plenty of time.

Yeah they’re all at fault, this episode really just shits on the whole notion of doing something your girlfriend wants. Then it makes Raj out to be the victim because he has to be around all these other people that have girlfriends (even tho they act like they’re a liability when they do something that inconveniences the guys even tho the guys are constantly doing it to the girls). Maybe I’m reading too deeply into this but this episode struck me as incredibly sexist

I am a fan of both. Saw all the movies and watched all the TV shows. But what is the major difference? Not talking about minor details such as different races or planets or equipment.

I mean sometimes that's kinda easier said than done. People can go to therapy and get some type of help, yet that doesn't mean progress will be completed. It's like having a drug problem, if you been struggling with drugs and finally took the time to get help, that doesn't necessarily mean that your cured. It's a constant fight everyday to not relapse, same goes with selective mutism. He see his friends in relationships and all 3 of them have their own problems, but they are in happy and committed relationships, so now he got it in his head, that something must be wrong with him and he just not meant to have love. Having that feeling implanted in your mind is dangerous and very real. If this was a drama show, he probably would have tried to commit suicide because of that💯. From his perspective, he probably can't fix himself, so he need a woman to help him be repaired and wants to return the favor from her. There were times where he blew it with dates and times where he got treated wrong. But I do agree, you shouldn't be in a relationship, if you can't fix yourself first. I had to find that out for myself, a long time ago.
