Now, that's a good idea! Make up 10 pounds in advance and have them ready to go in the freezer for when you're short on time or company surprises you. Then there's the added bonus of something ready, in the freezer, on days when we feel a little punky and just need something comforting and quick. Thank you, Ms. Lori

Oh Miss Lori, they look absolutely wonderful!! :) This is such a helpful video, because this isn’t only a Thanksgiving recipe, but twice baked potatoes are something that we personally eat up here in my home state of South Dakota, all year round. Like you said, they go great with your Christmas Prime Rib, and we like them in the Summer when we need a quick side too.l I will admit, I get them pre-made from the store, but you have my word, that after I get through these 20 lbs of gold potatoes, I will get some russets, and I’m going to use the entire bag, using your recipe! :) I don’t know why I’ve never thought to freeze them? But that’s so perfect to just pull them out when you need. I have been freezing my own breakfast burritos though. That’s been a huge time saver. Much love to you & Mr Brown!! I wish you all things good, and many blessings always! 🙏🏼🙏🏼✨👍

Miss Lori you took me back with this video. My mama passed away July 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Bout 15 years ago I came across a recipe for twice baked potatoes. I made them and add garlicky sauteed shrimp. Along with my first prime rib I ever made. That was my "fancy" meal. It was for my mama and family. Well needless to say it became her favorite meal of mine. That and my buttermilk pie. One of our last meals together I made her a steak and twice baked potato and buttermilk pie. We ate and sat and laughed and laughed. We both ate way too much and had such a wonderful time. I recorded us laughing at ourselves on my cellphone. I cherish that recording. Her Birthday is November 24. So Thanksgiving was always a great day and many times fell on her birthday. So it's bittersweet but she's always with us. 💕

I'm up to my eyeballs in turkeys (3) dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans pumpkin pies etc. for our family Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow and I just realized a little bit ago that I have no idea what we're actually having for supper TONIGHT! After watching this, I'm hungry for a baked potato, and even if I only have time to "once bake" them, I have all the fixin's to load it up good... almost as tasty as this (and I just LOVE tater peelings...I eat the whole thing!) Thank you for another great holiday side dish idea, Mrs. Lori....and you're looking beautiful today, as always! I'm thinking y'all have the right idea for Christmas Eve...that prime rib and this would make a wonderful dinner!
