I feel like I come back to this video once every 3 months when my washer does this (again). Today it was an entire kid’s-sized facecloth, crammed down into that filter.

Thank you!!! That was the problem and the horrible smell! I found old socks, a pencil, nail clippers and bottle caps! Insane! Just replaced my dryer I seriously didn't want to have to replace my washer too. Thanks bro 💪

So glad I KZfaq F21 and found youe video!! Trying everything before need to buy a new washing machine too. I tried 5x tonight just trying to drain cycle like less than ten items. Not working at all. I will try the sew if any socks or other things are clogged up.

Quick tip. My filter did not extend outside the frame. Real mess the first time I opened it. Next time, to replace pump, I disconnected the drain line and used my shop-vac to suck out the water and also put it next to the filter opening when I unscrewed it to capture the small amount of water remaining.

hi, thanks for the video. I cleaned the front drain and also removed the clamp and pulled out the hose fro the filter.. seemed all clean. I put everything back and the machine washed again but midway through the cycle I got Sd error, cleared itself up, resumed cycle but got the dreaded F2 again afterwards :( ay other ideas ? thanks

If your still getting the f21 error after cleaning out the drain: you may have a bad pump. I have replaced the pump in mine. Look for videos on how to check if your pump is bad. Best of luck bud.

Mine looked more like torx screw so I guess they vary. I just used my biggest torx bit

My wife uses a mesh washer bag for small items that are prone to be eaten by the washer.

Well this method worked all times in the past. Now the drain is clear and the F-21 message still keeps popping up on every wash cycle afterwards. So I just hired a tech to come out. If anyone is interested in finding out what happened, let me know...

@@tashiabruce9539 the pump itself was worn out, as noticable gunk had already passed through the rotor on the inside of the pump. He managed to clean it up to get the washer working again for now, but he will be back later this week to replace the pump itself.

We got a new used one n as soon as my husband put it in n we did a test was damn code comes out so I’m guessing could it be the drain hose? Or maybe since drain area is in a high location it’s harder to fight gravity n drain water out?
