We head to Cascade Brewery, Australia's oldest by bus. Unfortunately being a holiday (Boxing Day) it is closed and the nearby bar does not open more more than an hour.
We decide to walk nearly 4 km down to the city via the Hobart Rivulet park. We arrived in the city and did a bit of window shopping. It was busy with the annual Boxing Day sales.
A further stroll brought us to the Lark distillery, where I sampled 4 different Tasmanian Whiskies. Jo had a local apple cider. The cellar door offers whisky tastings and is open from 11 am - 7 pm daily.
I tried the Classic Cask, Rebellion & Tasmanian Peated whiskies.
We then checked out the new Virgin Mega Cruise Ship at the Hobart waterfront. Lots of walking that day.
