Kirsten Shockey's fermented Dilly Beans recipe is so great! It's my absolute favorite way to preserve green beans. I usually find canned dilly beans to be too soft, but the fermented version stays nice and crisp.

I planted wayyyy too many green beans so we're fixin to be green bean rich soon! Definitely going to be trying the fermenting method and we freeze ours too. Try cooking them in a cast iron with a little onion, crispy bacon and sriracha honey stirred in right at the end! 👌

Hey Y’all, you both look great. I saw that butter go in the coffee and wondered am I supposed to ask but you gave the answer right away. Nathan if a doctor on youTube jumped off of a tall building in town would you jump too? lol I love the whole green bean idea. I am trying so many this year. Gold rush, Mellow Yello, Provider, Royal Burgundy, Topazio and the yard long green beans. Then the French Filet beans Tavera, French Filet and Ferrari beans. Then the Italian beans are Fagiolo Rampicante yellow, Fagiolo Nano (Cannellino), Fagiolo Rampicante green and Fagiolo Rampicante purple. OMG who ordered all these beans. This year I am growing them in grow bags, inground, raised beds and several of the pole beans in hanging baskets. I hang them high and the grow down to the ground and I collect them by cutting with scissors and they land in a bowl. No weeds, no animals and NO bending. Nate, we use grass fed butter in our coffee and tea in the morning. It is so good we skip breakfast! We were told fasting is good for the brain etc....

Nice video as always !! It may seem simple to you, but...what is the best way to cook green beans, I harvested a lot of Italian green beans as well as Dragon tongue beans. My husband keeps buying canned green beans at the store even though our freezer if full. Ohhh, I just put mine in freezer bags and did not boil them first . After I take my frozen beans out of the freezer, what is the easiest method to do next ? You are busy parents indeed ! Gorgeous flowers !
