In this video I review the Nike Air Max 97 shoe in the white colour way. We're covering the sizing, comfort, versatility, and quality of these classic shoes.
SIZING:
I am size 11 in almost all of my shoes, including my Nike Air Force and other Air Max's, and these do fit me true to size.
COMFORT:
As mentioned, these Nike's offer a firmer feel, but its great once you get used to it. I have worn these for long periods of time and have never had any sort of cramping or discomfort. These Air Max's are well built and feel really good on foot.
VERSATILITY:
You can wear anything with everything now days, however the nice thing with these Air Max 90's being a little more firm means you can not only wear them daily, but you can also workout in them comfortably. Because these Nike shoes have a firmer bottom, you will be able to lock in your stance better when lifting heavier weights. Also, any Nike in a white colour way is going to be an extremely versatile shoe, so that always helps.
QUALITY:
As mentioned, the quality of these Nikes is great. They have some leather detailing which I find really cool, most 'athletic' shoes don't offer any leather, so the fact that Nike put this on this classic shoe really adds some character and a more premium feel to the shoe. The laces are nice and thick, and these Air Max 97's offer a lot of cushioning around the ankles.
OVERALL THOUGHTS:
Great addition to the wardrobe, really nice comfortable shoe that looks a bit different than the typical Nikes. Everyone is wearing the Nike Air Force 1 or Jordans, these are a bit more low-key yet still super nice. They feel great, look great, and are comfortable. What more can you ask for?
