Thank you! This helps! May I ask how are people there like? Are most of them party and loud or mixed up and how's the service?

Definitely a variety of people - some party more than others, but generally WRV is not known as a 'party' accommodation. You can barely hear if another flat is playing music tbh - I never had issues with it being loud, apart from the drummer sometimes lol. In terms of service, reception were always really helpful, and pretty much 24/7 maintenance for repairs in your flat ect. And glad you found the vid useful :)

Hi thanks for your amazing tour video! I’m looking for my accommodation just wondering how sociable place it is? Is there great place to become closer with flats or others? And I wanna know that the laundry facilities is free of charge or not? 😊

In my opinion, how 'sociable' it is will depend on whether you put yourself out there. I've made good friends here. There are often prees, which present a good opportunity to meet new people and there are always people in the common areas. & unfortunately White Rose does NOT bless us with free laundry. Glad you enjoyed the tour 👍

And also how does the parcel system working for picking up your parcels?

Small/medium parcels go into a locker. You get a code to open the door and collect them. Bigger parcels go to a storage room. You show your ID at reception and you can collect. It’s quite an easy process 👍

Rent prices change all the time. Take a look at the website and it should say. It’s also cheaper if you apply and manage to get WRV through your choices with UoL, as opposed to doing it with privately

Hi, all rooms in WRV have an ensuite, so studio vs flat depends on your personal preference for having flatmates. Studio gives you your own space, whereas in a flat you'll live with 4 or 7 other people sharing a kitchen area, so more social. Either way, the accommodation will be nice, so depends on if you'd like to live with others.

The wifi is sufficient for all basic study needs. I can't remember the exact upload and download speeds, so let us know if you find out.
