Some fun facts, the tattoo was of poker cards, specifically the worst hand you can get on poker and it means that he survived when all odds were against him, which is why the old guy was afraid of him. Also this movie save bob odinkirks life, he had a heart attack while filming better call saul but because of the training he did for this movie and getting fit he was able to survive the heart attack, so in a sence "Nobody" helped bob odinkirk survive a heart attack

This movie use pretty realistic fighting scenes while keeping them entertaining. Especially the bus scene, from the protagonists using all he has, the environment, the weapons, the punches and the decisions make this movie unlike any others. Even john wick doesn’t do his action like that. I only realize that after watching a breakdown of the scenes. A true masterpiece of action.
@Muck006
@Muck006 9 ай бұрын
The only thing that is unrealistic is the "wound repair", because he sustains a lot of wounds within a few days and wounds from the early fights would have hindered his fighting ability in the later fights. The knife he got into the side would have had major issues for his movement.

Same writer as John Wick. He wrote this script first. This is basically set in the John Wick universe, but there wont be a crossover because the films were made by different studios. Personally, this is my favorite of the John Wick universe movies.

@jamesmarciel5237

The movies were actually produced by the same company and only distributed by separate studios. The reason for no crossover was that the writers and producers said they could never come up with a satisfactory reason for one. They thought the closest would be to have the main characters simply pass by each other and nod in recognition. But still felt even that would not be good enough.

I love this movie so much. He's probably the only man in history to truly talk someone to death 🤣. But, you're completely right about the wife being refreshing in character from the norm, and I add his father to that pile. He wasn't written as a feeble old man who would wet himself to distract then have his son pop out, he handled his business. To me, the seriousness blended with the over the top was the writer taking us into his feelings. He was down, mid-life, we feel his bog. And as he pressed on despite the seriousness, we felt his giddiness about old times and having the feeling back of basically being a cleaner. He made sure he had messes to clean up and have done with. He risked a lot doing so, but now he knows how sharp he still is, how much his family life can take, and how good his crew is if he needs them. This movie is a buy. Recommendation: A Paul Walker movie titled Running Scared

He used to write for Saturday Night Live in the late 80's and early 90's! Then he went on to a very little known show called, "The Ben Stiller Show"! He co-hosted Mr. Show. Also starred Tom Kenny (Spongebob Sqaurepants ), Jack Black, Sarah Silverman, etc...

In JOHN WICK it was all about a dog. The first movie began with a dog being illed and ends with another dog being adopted. But in between the protagonist's ability to evade being killed became so farfetched midway into the movie that it was laughably ridiculous from then on. in NOBODY we see what seems to be a direct response to JOHN WICK by being all about a cat. It begins with a lost kittykat bracelet and ends with the adoption of a stray cat. About the same number of people are killed in both movies, but the big difference is that NOBODY is actually believable.

As an aside, and because it makes the whole thing that much more enjoyable, Yulian wasn't wrong when he said Teddy getting his ass kicked on the bus was about the Obshak. As far as the people in his circles are concerned, somebody just attempted one hell of a brutal hit on his younger brother. So if he can't immediately and very publicly deal with whoever was responsible, that means he's not the kind of person they want to trust with all that money. He couldn't just let things go any more than Hutch could, just for different reasons.

When a former ultra-elite, top-tier special forces operative and assassin, who is highly skilled, intelligent, smart, lethal, dangerous, and feared, is trying to live a quiet and peaceful life to be free from the violence and death. But if anyone, who are stupid morons, try to mess with him and his quiet and peaceful life, they better not wake up Death within him, because he will make their life a living hell.

You'd think by now after all the movies you've watched that have End Credit scenes that you would leave the movie playing (muted) while you do your discussion 🤔😉 👍✌🤙

This had a Better Call Saul vibe, quirky pacing, sort of over the top realistic situations brought at times to the absurd. Overall I enjoyed the movie personally.

I remember when I watched Jurassic world dominion just to watch y’all’s reaction. N my goodness…I would’ve gladly just watched the reaction to it I regret ever sitting through that movie on my own. Just a random thought btw

Just a FYI, this can’t be a ripoff of John Wick, because it was written by the same author, Derek Kolstad.

I don't think you can make "a rip-off of John Wick" when this movie was made by the same people who made John Wick.
