WHITEOUT! Big Rig Wrecker Saves The Day! Pt.2
Thank goodness for tow truck drivers! Especially the ones that pull truck drivers out of bad situations. In this video, we wrap up our Colorado Rockies, I-70 whiteout/blizzard adventure. This was a crazy situation, but we had a lot of fun!

Tow Operator here, Nice to see at least someone appreciates us. Usually we're looked at as meth head criminals lowlifes. Little do people know, we must drug screen, can't be a felon to work along side law enforcement and obviously have to have good driving records for insurance purposes. We do what we do because we love what we do, it's damn sure not for the little money and no benefits we get. Most of us are also about standing behind our truckers and backing the blue.

Lot times others acting stupid get yourself stuck. That 1 girl I like see make it in tough trucking world. Sometimes it best park up few hours if not next day or 2. I remember all the I-70 like the palm of my hand, I ran as a dedicated team for fedex ground hauling doubles would pass through the Rockies around 3am 2x a week. Wish we had a cb radio, we didnt have microwave, refrigerator or TV. There I learned how to install tire chains. We always kept pushing thru slowly but surely except when closed down. Always keeping your momentum that's if no cars stopped. I look back and that was a scary but now fun experience. Coldest we hit was -10 degrees I now drive for a union company locally in California. Sure don't miss that episode of my life. Haven't had the chance to go back for the funner stuff and ski up in vail. A friend once told me the real professional truck drivers stay at home in winter. Part of that is true but only if they have experienced this before. For those of you still hauling thru there keep on trucking and be safe. Thanks for the video brought back good memories. I have yet to understand why danger and adrenaline rush is always missed if you are not there doing it...

Riddled with anxiety going up and down the mountain.. but, that adrenaline rush of satisfaction and accomplishment when the truck is safely off the highway?.. nothing compares!

Was that the Eisenhower tunnel? I remember plowing that area last year, was so much fun and the over time was stacked back then. But that area is no joke, taking it slow and being safe is the best thing you can do. I’m on my third year plowing and still have a lot to learn and still get scared on sliding off the mountain but great video keep up the great work.

Winter time is a very nice time due to the holidays, but we should remember the truck drivers driving every day, and in winter risking their lives a little bit. In my opinion during this thanksgiving we should be thankful for the truck drivers. Stay safe truck drivers
