Modeling again...So I have this plan to build a 2 x 4 foot module that will include this 18 x 11 inch component of South River Modelworks Whitney Bent. I started with the foam & masonite base and worked up to installing the multi level foundation structure, rockwork, dirt, foliage and doodads. Enjoy

Glad you like the diorama. South River Model Works kits are fun and a challenge. Lots of walls windows doors and roofs. Takes a while to build.

Chris,,, great details and perfect doodads sir. Pigeons,,, gotta love the silly buggers. Your treatment of the wood pallets is spot on. Fantastic.

Never have enough of them. They are nice laser cut models. My wife Lela builds them at the NMRA modelers corners at shows.l

Just get in there and give it a go. I find the finescale show and narrow gauge convention as a great inspiration and source of info. Also there are many on line forums and facebook sights that can help

Yes I decided to build the layout as a freemo modular set. Easy for future considerations and allows me to focus in a small area of detail. Not so much concerned about operations as I do that on so many layouts here in Ottawa
