Watching her perform live this is like watching an athlete at the top of their game, her vocal chords as an instrument are second to none and she plays those chords as well as Eddie Van Halen on a guitar, Stevie Wonder on the harmonica, Chopan on a piano and Vivaldi on a violin. Incredible technical prowess with immense control over high, low and falsetto registers, just mind blowing

I was 4-years old when I attended this concert at the Naval Air Station, in Norfolk, Virginia. It was called "Welcome Home Heroes with Whitney Houston." My father was a fighter pilot in the US Navy, and recently returned home from the Gulf War. Whitney did this concert for the men & women that were returning home after the Gulf War. I belive there was approximately 4,000 in attendance. It was televised on HBO. I still have the original VHS Tape of the concert LOL ;) The concert was recorded on Easter Sunday, March 31, 1991. Regardless of my age at the time, this is truly a memory I will have forever. I remember this so vividly. Whitney was truly amazing. She is still the Greatest Female Artist to ever step on stage or pickup a microphone. Thank you again, Whitney, for giving us all, 'One Moment in Time' we'll never forget. RIP 🙏

I saw this on HBO as a child, when I was living close to Bergstrom Air Force Base. It gave me a great respect for servicemen and a sense of family. I later joined the Air Force and served 10 years. I find myself coming back to this video often... wishing I could have experienced it first hand. Whitney was an amazing angel taken from us too early.

She was beyond words can even describe! She believed in one life one love but unfortunately for both it wasn’t meant to be till the end of time! Whitney is a genius and I cannot go a day without listening to her everyday! I love that spirit she has and the way she expresses in every song from there after that day of performance. The awe of every respective officers eyes is just a definition of the spirt and how she made everyone want to LOVE and be in LOVE TRULY JUST AS SHE WAS AT THE TIME! 💝
