It’s funny to see them react to Whitney being a normal person. The really thought she was in gowns all day, at least back then. She was on a whole other level of stardom.

This video makes me think about that a lot of people didn't understand that Whitney wasn't an alien. I mean, she was an human being, of course that she had time to spend with her daughter, ofc she liked to do the same things that every kind of pearson use to do. She was a vip, ok, but omg she wasn't dressed on these elegants clothes 24h/24

@@churchnelly548 ofc They manipulated her, they did what they want, they made an icon but are we sure that this is really what she really wanted? I am sure she didn't. I think her as a celebrity who prefered to be a gospel singer maybe even an actress, we have seen even how great she was as an actress And she paved the way to all black singers in pop industry, even the same Beyonce, and i'm not lying: have you ever seen a pop black female celebrity before Nippy? I don't know one of them. She was technically the best singer of all time and she suffered really a lot: we may remember her during all the future music evolution

Her bodyguard of 7 years who is interviewed for the Showtime documentary Whitney Houston: Can I Be Me claims she ODd on the set of this film in 1995 . IDK if that true or not, but I tend to believe him. Whitney admitted on Oprah that on the set of The Preacher's Wife (1996) she was getting high EVERY day. So...those are her words.

Rashaad Perry, People get the drug thing from Whitney, herself. She mentioned it on the Oprah Winfrey interview for her album "I Look to You". She laced marijuana with weed, and smoked it frequently. Smoking anything probably messes up the voice.

Yes, she lost her first baby on the set of The Bodyguard (you can see her juuuuuuuuuuust starting to show (especially in her face) when she performed at the 1992 American Music Awards. She was also pregnant in her 1996 interview with Katie Couric promoting the upcoming The Preacher's Wife. Sadly another miscarriage.
