She NEVER lost her voice, she was having a pulmonary deficiency and hearth deficiency so she have no air to sing in the way she done it on the 90's but she change the song to a little bit slower and she used a vocal choristers, So in that way she done the last shows perfectly and sometimes she stopped to drink water and take a break to 🫁 breath, but people just insult what they ignore because they are NOT SINGERS and they do not follow the life of Whitney Elizabeth Houston.

I was lucky enough to be sitting next to her on a flight. Years of drug abuse will eventually take it's toll. In this clip she just looks tired and over it. She was a beautiful person. RIP.

@Gleek787 Very true. I hadn't known she was a chain smoker until very recently. I thought it was primarily due to drugs and alcohol. Smoking drastically lowers the voice and makes it hoarse and raspy. Suzanne Pleshette is prime example of that. As a vocalist, smoking is the worst thing you can do if you want to retain your range. So, it's no wonder Whitney kept dropping octaves and getting progressively more raspy and hoarse during the 2000s.

@CMOSjockey Yes, it's a sad ending to a great career of a near perfect singer. She's definitely the perfect example of what drugs can do to an otherwise healthy person and specifically what they do to the singing voice. Her voice was sounding raspy by even the Diane Sawyer 'Crack is Whack' interview and it just went down from there to what you see here. It's sad that she didn't want more out of life than a lifestyle of booze and drugs.

Whitney was completely over all that struggling to sing & touring.....she was sooooo over it! And she was tired of singing those songs too! A lot of people do not know that this last tour was not her doing.....it is not what she wanted to do.....she HAD to do this due to her financial debt with Clive & her record company. You can see the exhaustion & the drain, both physically & emotionally in these performances just by her facial expressions, body language, & lack of energy.

Remember her so called family stole her life and her money beat her to death where's her protection from the wolves. 😢
