She above all is the perfect example that one should in the end choose happiness over misery. @zandersmiranda92569 ай бұрын
Whitney had no choice because she was in a financial struggle and Russia pays almost quadruple the price for an entertainer of this magnitude. However, after this performance Whitney had to prepare herself and look healthy for the media in the US to embark what would have been her comeback. She was using drugs out there but had to make sure she was clean and healthy as her I look to you album was going to launch and embark in a Europe tour. Clive didn't think she was ready but her family Pat and Gary and the entire clan she supported needed the money.

I'm gonna be honest here this for me was Whitney at her worst but guess what she still sounded better than some of the female singers that were having in hits in 2008. Her 2010 tour was actually better her voice got better. No matter what Whitneys vocal era was she always gave it her all. But this video makes me so sad.

For those of you full of criticism... Whitney was perfect here. Kazakh side, workers, stage and rainy weather on open air was not perfect. I'm gonna tell you an inside story. Two technicians were killed by a shock during the preparation of the stage. They hammered the carpet to the floor and they punched electrical cables. Because of this, the director's console burned out. Several channels in it were out of order and was not possible to set up a new one. It did not allow to connect a lot of equipment. All artists did lip singing to a track. But they used to do it as always in this country. Whitney is the only one who sang live. And the monitors on the stage did not work, she did not hear the background vocals, and they did not hear her as well. I am surprised that she did not send everyone to hell for such an organization. So instead of full music instrumental they had to use accoustic version. Which was not perfect of course.

She doesn’t even sound that bad here to be honest. It’s decent! This was a huge improvement compared to 2005-2006 where she literally had no voice.
@jeframp38053 жыл бұрын
It was purely technical issues. She couldn't hear herself, the audio was bad as was the playback tracks and the band trying to follow to them. Something is wrong also with her microphone, you can hear the when she talks the audio is echoing back through the monitors when they do turn them up, its just terrible. when she sings the happy birthday acapella its pefect and the tone is good. You cannot hear the high notes in "I am every woman" , her backing vocals are turned down so low all you hear is her singining over them because nobody can hear it and you cannot have silence , when in that part she normally just stood while that section played as she couldn't do it live.The technical issues messed it up. She also probably had to strain as when on the quiet parts you cannot hear her. The last thing she needed at that point was singing louder to be heard. It tired her voice out quickly and it was out in the cold. Its the worst scenario imaginable, yet she kills it.

She was breathtaking stunningly beautiful,one thing that I absolutely loved about Whitney, is that she spent $10,000 on a outfit, you going to see that outfit on her again, like in 1999, the leather outfit that she wore in the videoit's not right but it's okay, how many times did you see her in there, and the black dolce Gabbana suit, with the hat that she did her tours in, and you saw her also aware that took the Grammy's, and saw her wear that leather dress to one of the award shows, just like her velvet dresses that she loved, during The bodyguard tour, you saw her wear them in 1996, when she hosted the nwacp awards image awards with Denzel after finishing up the movie The preacher's wife,like that's what I loved about her, she was not like Mariah at all, Mariah believes that she wears no matter how much she pays for a dress, or even a t-shirt, it can only be worn one time and one time only, and then she keeps it, likein her studio with all her clothes, and plastic and safely kept, just to never wear it again, that's like mine bothering, LoL 😂😂😂,but not nippy, she was like you going to see this damn leather again, do you know how much they charge me for this damn leather dress, or believe me you going to see this one again and again and again

y'all gotta admit that Whitney at her worst would be better than anyone charting right now

The acoustics of the stage set up is throwing this performance off…. It’s not horrible, because they are professionals. Doesn’t sound like they worked/prepared long before this tour though. The transitions between songs don’t seem planned.

Whitney at her worst is still what many professional singers aspire to sound like at their best

She looked beautiful but the band/backtrack and sound wee way off. She was a yes but stayed professional. And the stylist should have chose something a little shorter for her to wear so she could get around the stage more. But she looked great, though. And her voice seems to be in good condition for this time, but messed sound and monitors will throw anyone off.
