Yeah, it's a shame people get so offended by what jersey he is wearing. I get his point that it distracts from what he is going for, his love for hockey. Maybe wearing eliminated teams jerseys, or retro jerseys would make people satisfied. But it's the internet so who knows.

Honestly Shannon, you have the right to wear whatever jersey you want. Don’t let a negative vocal minority dictate how to make your videos because this is your channel. And if that negativity isn’t what you want in your community, then don’t let this place be a safe harbor for them and remove them. It’s not worth it to you or your viewers to be subject to that kind of vibe when this channel should just be a place for people who love and want to talk about hockey. And we are in the most exciting time for every hockey fan, playoffs!

I could honestly not care if Shannon wore a Kings jersey for the entire series. I find THG quite neutral in all honesty. I know he roots for his three teams and is still quite neutral. I don’t find a bias in any content here, that’s why I enjoy it. I hope everyone has a fun playoff season and good luck to your respective teams. Let’s go Oilers!

I have jerseys for 10 of the 16 teams in the playoffs and I wore an Avalanche jersey today and tomorrow I will wear an Ovi jersey and Monday I will wear one of my Stars jerseys so just be yourself because this is why i watch you all the time.

I went to Vegas in January and saw the Knights and Calgary. We cheered for Calgary because we were from Atlanta and the flames used to be in Atlanta. My wife wore the Calgary jersey and I wore the Atlanta Thrasher jersey. Las Vegas has a great venue. Loved the place.

The one thing i’m concerned about for game 1 dallas vs vegas is that by monday (game 1) it’ll have been 4 days since dallas last played which is a longer rest period then needed in my opinion and sometimes having to much time off can cause a team to be rusty

The reason I "clicked" on this video is because I wanna know what you think about the playoffs. The Atlantic and Central teams will have a long difficult road to the Cup, and the Canucks have 1 Canadian in their lineup. That leaves three possible teams that can win it: Rangers, Hurricanes, Oilers. Oilers have the advantage in high end skill, so they probably have the best chance.

Anyone who takes issues with your jersey selection needs to get over it. It's one of the parts of the videos I most enjoy. It's like a mid-credits stinger for those MCU movies. It sheds lights on what you consider to be the highpoint of the day. I see a logo and a line on the board towards the bottom and I know something interesting or impressive happened. Honestly, you've inspired me to step my hat game up. I have at least one hat for each of the 32 teams and now I'm working on variants and defunct teams like the Nordiques, Whalers, Rockies, etc. Just keep doing you buddy. Even if we don't always root for the same teams, I always enjoy seeing what you're rolling out of the jersey rack next. Don't mess with a winning formula!

Joe Pavelski has been my favorite player of all time. Not the biggest or fastest, but his hockey IQ is off the charts and similar to Cliff he just finds a way to produce. IMO the best to ever tip a puck. 205th overall pick in 2003, That's the 7th round, and is one of the best ever American born players to ever play in the NHL

thanks for all the good work during the season The Hockey Guy! You are the best! Now it's a fresh start in the playoffs and as a Swedish fan I hope for Pettersson, Hoglander and Lindholm, remember EP40 has at least one more gear, I think he's loaded up since the all star games for the important games. Big Hog will score one point per game in the playoffs, its his legacy from back home. Go Canucks!!

I LOVE your attitude towards all the series; I would definitely benefit from getting more like you, Shannon. I find myself too often becoming emotional when my team is losing. I’m going to try and just enjoy ALL the great hockey that will be played over the next several weeks!! Also imagine a final four of NY Rangers v. Toronto and Winnipeg v. Vancouver. So maybe we can finally end the drought of 31 years without a team from Canada winning The Stanley Cup

If you are Tor the best thing was, to start on the road Against tough teams ,with media/fan pressure it's easier to try to split the first 2 rd gms than win both home gms

Thank you for your thoughts Shannon. I like hearing your thoughts, even if I don't agree with all of them! I always consider other points of view, because I know as a massive Jets fan, that I have biases to my team. And please wear whatever jerseys you'd like, I like your stash of jerseys to pick from. I think and believe that this is a special year for my Jets... and the lineup is second to none. We have the pieces we need to do well this year... and the Cup is overdue to come back to Canada too... but 1st, my Jets boys need to get through the 1st round which I believe we will do, starting later today. #GoJetsGo
