My primary concern is for the listeners that encounter these teachings. The problem is that the listener often leaves a meeting or video with a distinct impression that the speaker then claims was unintended. The point to be taken away from this presentation is that it is irresponsible to hijack a well established EGW phrase and use it in the wrong context which will inevitably leave the listener with wrong ideas. As you know I left the identities out of the video. If you discover where the quotes are from then you should follow your own convictions as to how to warn those within your sphere of influence. @@Seventh-dayChurchofRevelation first I want to apologise for my first post. It was to pointed for this scenario. I however still want to express that I disagree with the position taken in this video. I fully agree with and am happy to see PHM understanding the truth on the Spirit, angels and the word. I however do not believe borrowing and using phrases from inspiration and then using them in a different context causes confusion so long as the person doing so is being clear what he/she is saying. This is extremely common to see in inspiration, that is phrases and words being used in a different context or sense. This is why inspiration is "thought" based and not word based. There is no trademark on words and phrases in inspiration. Yes we should all be careful in what we say but we should also never nit pick at each other's words especially when we agree on the doctrine such as it is in this case. If we follow the idea presented in this message you will see open war over trivial and pointless things. Confusion is when a doctrine is so erroneous that no matter how hard you try it cannot be made sensible. It is not because of words or phrases that appear to contradict something so long as there is harmony. I may not like the choice of words a brother uses in a given scenario but it doesn't call for a video correction. That can be handled by talking to that person. In the reorganization effort wrong principles will have a negative impact on everyone. It may be subtle and the consequences difficult to see but anytime I see things that are contrary to "thought" inspiration I feel like people need to hear it so they can potentially follow things to there logical conclusion. Ponder these things and I believe anyone can see the logical outcome. I hope this message got my point across in a better tone than my first message. I don't want to see anything derail the reorganization effort. Blessings!
