I enjoyed your teaching on Revelation 11. You have a wonderful teaching manner. The note on Moses having died is important factor. No one teaches the possibility of John himself being the second witness. The plain reading of chapter 10 where the angel instructs John to eat the scroll and tells him that the message of the thunders is not to be revealed in the current testamony of Revelation; then says, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”

Elijah's spirit already came with John the Baptist, What I love so much about our Most High Holy Living God Our true Father he keeps us on our toes, and when I opened the word of God and asked My Father each time for A spiritual Knowledge and understanding he never let me down, but I also believe some of prayers are always answered only He is Our Father and No is an answer to! Shawn Dahl your understanding is in error. The woman on this video is also wrong. All this misleading information does help conceal the identies of the two witnesses (who are Gentile Christains - not Jewish!). Just because this prophet or that prophet had this or these powers or those powers does NOT provide any information as to the identies of the two witnesses. Also, it is quite possible several or more of ancient prophets could return to teach, but most likely their returns will be in spirit form.

The act of John's eating the roll mirrors the preparation of Ezekiel to perform as prophet. (Ezek.3:3) I believe their is adequate scripture to prove John is still awaiting his first actual death. It is God's manner to 'conceal a matter' which he has done well with the transion from Rev. 10 to 11.

The Bible does tells us who the two witnesses are. They are the Olive trees (Jews) and the lampstands (Church Gentiles). Elijah is surely one of the Two Witnesses, but the other may be John because he was given a message in Revelation 10 then told that he must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. But is there any evidence of him doing so at the close of the first century? I don’t think there is. So it sounds like he’s going to return. Then the two lampstands and two olive trees could represent men from the Old and New Testaments. Just imagine the exegesis they could go into to correct doctrine from both time periods.

Hi Christine! Another possibility for the two witnesses could be Michael and Gabriel. They are described as 'two olive trees' and 'two lamp stands' that stand before the Lord of the Earth. They have witnessed all that has taken place throughout History. Revelation 11:3-12, 1260 days or 3 and 1/2 years of Prophesying, then 3 1/2 Days their bodies would lie in the street before being resurrected is the same way as the Messiah, not having seen corruption. Daniel 12:5, Daniel 10:21, Michael and Gabriel having a full knowledge of things to come. They also appeared as Men to Abraham, Genesis 18:2, and verse 6. Abraham told Sarah to make 'three' meals, one for each of them which they ate, also verse 18, shows the two Angels leave for Sodom while the Lord stays with Abraham. Hope you find this interesting.

Christine, I would think Moses was also translated, Lazarus wasn't translated but raised from death back to mortality. Satan's objection over Moses was probably related to the fall of Adam and the universal nature of death as the consequence. The two witnesses will teach the gospel of Christ. They will be mortal as were all Prophets during their mortal ministries. However in instances of the conferring of Priesthood keys of authority a prophet's ministry may extend again to Earth as a messenger sent from the presence of God, which defines what an angel is, being spirit only, or resurrected or translated as on the mount of transfiguration with their bodies. Angels are men, who belong to this earth and they minister to it, (sometimes before their mortal time here). I believe the angels that rolled away the stone are also the men described at the tomb, and it would be reasonable to suppose they could have been Moses and Elijah, but we do not know, at least I do not know. What the two witnesses are doing is performing a last witness to those on earth of the god of this earth. They will replicate those notable miracles of prophets who did previously witness and who's witness is recorded in our various scriptures. I expect these things will also be necessary under the circumstances that will prevail. People will try to destroy them, and god will give them power to prevent it, replicating Elijah in that and in shutting the heavens that there is no rain, this act can turn people away from their wars, but it will probably not be enough for all so they will also replicate the plagues brought through Moses upon Egypt to show a disbelieving world that the same god is with them, as was with Moses. Finally they will replicate the most notable miracle performed by the last Prophet sent to the Jewish nation, who was Christ, who rose from the dead after 3 days in the tomb and ascended into heaven on a cloud. I don't know who the two witnesses are but I do know they are now 11 years older.

After watching multiple presentations about who are the Two Witnesses I ask myself. Why do we need to know? If you did know how would that profit anyone? What would be gained?

Very good points. Considering Jesus' prophecy about 'as it was in the days of Noah', i.e., giants (Nephilim) in the earth, I personally believe one of the witnesses will be Enoch. He had first-hand knowledge of the Nephilim, as he lived amongst them before the Deluge, and he could preach his personal testimony to the masses who will be suffering at the cruel hands of the (returned) giants during the tribulation.

It is God’s power at work. He can have anyone do what has been done before with anyone. Jesus raised the dead and so did his disciples. Throughout the church age the sick have been healed and the dead raised. As far as Moses and Elijah at the mount of transfiguration, it was because they represented the Law and the Prophets, which Jesus was going to fulfill. Enoch represents the per-flood age and Elijah represents the post flood age. Both are prophets and both have never died. As far as the box, God has put himself in the box through his word.

Deuteronomy 34 also shows that :5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. So Moses is disqualified. Madam, I’d love to point out the fact the Bible clearly states the two witnesses have NEVER tasted death. Therefore since Moses has died he can not be a witness. Leaving Enoch and Elijah. The Bible tells you who the 2 witnesses are. The 2 olive trees and the 2 lamp stands. The Bible also tells us who the olive trees and lamp stands are. Certainly they have never tasted death. I would not discount though that these definitions could be taken out of context and it’s possible 2 witnesses are in fact 2 people. I do believe that evangelizing during this time could be done in a larger way with the lamp stand and olives trees definition, in addition to the 144,000 sealed Jews. Either way, I hope to not be hear for that.

*My view on who THE TWO WITNESSES probably are in Revelation 11:3:* I think that the *apostles John and James will be the two witnesses.* We read in *Matthew **20:20**-23* that Zebedees sons *(John and James)* will "drink the cup" Jesus drank. The two witnesses preach for 3 1/2 years, just like Jesus did. The two witnesses are killed, just as Jesus was killed after His 3 1/2 year ministry. After 3 days the two witnesses are resurrected, just like Jesus was resurrected after 3 days. The two witnesses are taken up to heaven afterward, just like Jesus was taken up to heaven. This is the "cup" *James and John* agreed to drink. They will come *in the spirit of* Elijah and Moses, just as John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah. *John and James* were there *WITNESSING* many of the things Jesus did and said, including when Jesus went up on the mount of transfiguration and they saw Moses and Elijah with Him. On top of this, we also read in *Revelation **10:11* about the angel telling *John* that *he'll prophesy before many peoples, nations, tongues and kings in the future.* Did John do this yet? The second witness is a mystery- I wonder why no factors a new prophet raised from this time to bookend with Old school prophet in Elijah - Moses probably does make the most sense - but I’ve always thought that since he was halted from entering the promise land ( temper ) he would have to wait until Yeshua reclaimed it. Enoch wasn’t Jewish - he’s a Gentile - so don’t think it’s him.

The two witnesses that never died was Elijah and Enoch , not Moses because he went up into the mountains and died , remember they are sent back to die by stoning in Jerusalem , God will not make you die a second time that's why the only two that still live will come back to die and are brought up alive before them that rejected christ . On another note about Lazarus, Christ was here and he is the resurrection and has the authority to raise the dead but this was for us to know who he is , it only makes scenes that God sends back the two that never died because why would he leave only one and take the other to die and take Moses after he died to die again ? Remember that they lay dead in the streets for 3 days and on the third day they are called up by God , The archangel fought once for Moses body I don't think God will make him do it a 2nd time , just saying ...

I think you're right. I don't think Enoch will be one of the two witnesses because Enoch is a a picture/type of the Church or the Bride of Christ. Enoch was raptured before Noah's flood and the Chruch will be raptured before the tribulation period begins. The Church will not be on earth during the tribulation period.
