Those Expand-Your-Hand bands put me out of commission for 4 days the first time I used them. My grip was exhausted in a way it had never been before and I couldn't finish a heavy set of anything. I think most people would be surprised by just how weak their extensors are. Strong extensors are important for safely releasing your grip, something that becomes progressively more stressful with heavier weight requiring greater grip pressure.

I currently have almost 11-inch forearms, can do a two-arm hang for 30-35 seconds depending on the bar I do it on and 20-25 second one-arm hangs with my 165 pound body weight. Hangs build overall stamina, but only a little size. Bad damn, the stamina increase.
