Welcome to our Wretch 32 FITB (Part 5) Reaction!!! This is our latest video reaction from our new music reaction channel Beer’s & Bars. Here we listen, react, and breakdown bars while enjoying some of our favorite beers. As we are on the way to completing the powerful journey of the fire in the booth session by Wretch 32, he came back with an awesome piano instrumental!! This Fire in the Booth Part 5 session was another amazing experience and definitely deserved another wheel up and he should be able to take the mic home as a plaque!! The word play, the cadence and the command presence of his voice it doesn't get any better than this!! We have now completed this part of the Wretch 32 Journey, now it's time to bring on album tracks!! Cheers to Part 5!!!

“If Whitney was the moral how would you define Bobby?” - This line has so many meanings. Whitney and Bobby both indulged in cocaine addictions yet Whitney died and Bobby survived. Their daughter, named Bobbi, also died from drug addiction so if Whitney’s demise was the morale she should’ve have learned from, how do you define her dying from the same afflictions? On top of that in London Whitney is slang for cocaine and Bobby is slang for heroine. This means he’s also asking about/comparing the two drugs and the effect and impact of both on poorer communities. Insane writing.

I am so amazed at how brilliant this genre of music is! Can’t believe that only 2 years ago I wouldn’t give rap / hiphop a chance. I’m supposed to be too old to listen to this according to some of my friends / family. They don’t know what they are missing. Poetry/ emotionally powerful , and such intelligent wordplay . So glad I starting listening . Enjoying this journey so much and appreciate the help from the amazing reactions like this that help with bars I don’t get .

@Beers & Bars Love this comments as it mirror my own recent experience - I'm an ageing guy who has always been ignorantly dismissive of rap/hip hop, however during lockdown in 2019 I was starting to struggle mentally and came across an Akala interview on YT where he spoke about knife crime in the UK, he was such an amazing orator I sought out more of his interviews and then discovered his lecture at the Oxford Union which is amazing - This led me to his music and his FITB's - That day was nothing short of an epiphany for me, the sheer beauty of discovering spoken word which was so powerful I felt it to my core....Absolutely amazing, It led me on what has been such an insightful journey so far. Akala, Kano, Mic Righteous, Dave, Big Narstie, Bugsy Malone, Ghetts, Little Simz, George the Poet, Kae Tempest, Avelino, Cadet, Swiss, Lowkey, Lady Leshurr, Aitch - All of them legends and purveyors of high art - Its great watching reaction channels to get further insight into bars I dont initially get as well as using genius dot com - Such a pleasing experience to watch reactors discover the stuff I've recently come across and see the same expressions of joy I felt.

As you are going to cover a few of his fully produced tracks, PLEASE make sure not miss the absolute classic track that is "Wretch 32 ft. Badness & Ghetto - INA DI GHETTO (Official Video)". It's one of his older tracks with Ghetts back in 2010 but it should not be missed, it's a masterpiece.

Jordy ft Wretch 32 40 Acres, so underrated and its fairly new compared with all the other Wretch ones youve done, it's so slept on probably because Jordy doesn't have a lot of subs, yet the fact that Wretch hopped on a track with him shows you all you need to know about Wretch, they both killed it.

Idk if anyone's else has suggested it but you should react to Jaykae's fire in the booth, Wretch himself actually said it's his favourite fitb make of that what you will. Just for context Jaykae done it as a tribute to Depzman who was a his best friend and they was a duo called 2real unfortunately he was stabbed to death at 18, at the time he was arguably the best up and coming Grime Artis

Love that you caught the Craig David bar. One of the cultural bars you did miss, was the first verse. “Nice to be stable I’ve been Frankie De Touring”. Frankie Detorri is one of the UKs top jockeys, so it tied it really well with horse word play upfront

Because you enjoy rawness I recommend Mic Righteous ' third degree' And for unique lyrics Mic Righteous- The Pen. Because you seem to like lyrics with depth eg Akala . I recommend trying Chester P- Fire in the Streets. And for something funky and a total vibe I suggest Dead Players - Yeah. For a cool FITB as you enjoy Ghetts uniqueness I suggest Kano's FITB. For some reason they cut the real part at the end of his fire in the booth on the main video. So if Beers&Bars end up doing this make sure you do the one that has 2 beats not one. I think the Second part might have been too real for some people.
