Honestly, Kano is like a fine wine and has just got better and better with age. For that reason, I believe his most recent album - Hoodies All Summer - is his finest, and his most accessible too for newer listeners - particularly those from outside UK. Kano uses a lot of UK slang and references in his bars, but there is a perfect balance in HAS, whereas Made in the Manor might not be as easy a listen for some for that reason (although the album is also fantastic). Musically and artistically, Kano reached new heights with HAS, and coming from him - an artist already at the top of the game - this was incredibly exciting to see. I can’t wait to see and hear what he’ll do next.

He later came out with Hoodies All Summer which again elevated what a Grime song could be. If you do Class of Deja make sure it's Maida Vale live. It features Ghetts and D Double E. Kano and Ghetts used to be in the same grime crew for a bit so they have great synergy. Fyi..Charlie reloads a 2012 fitb for Devlin (member of The Movement)..but you may want to check out a 2004 hip-hop classic Klashnecoff (Terra Firma Crew) - Murda (lyric video), to appreciate the 2nd beat.

Crazy thing is the beat is so simple and repetitive but the amount of different flows and styles he did on this is insane. Kano is my favourite artist of all time, similar age to me and i've just followed him since day 1. His album Hoodies All Summer is just incredible, an album that shows his growth as an artist and the production is perfect.
