As a Bengali I can say, Biryani without aloo is like bread without butter. Ya, some like jam but.... nothing can replace the crave for bread lathered with butter and sprinkled with some sugar crystals. It's the best. Same goes for biryani.

ikr as a bengali from bangladesh i was surprised to know that most ppl don't put aloo in their biryani, until few months ago i found out this then realized this is the main difference of most indian and bangaldeshi biryanis lol cuz i grew up eating kacchi or biryani all my life and to think bout eating em without aloo feels like a crime

Hands down for Kolkata biriyani. I mean after having biriyani all around the India, Kolkata biriyani is surely the best one I have till date. And that cooked Aloo is just nothing but the frosting on the cake. Love that.

Some people's orders were incomplete. You guys need to make a list and send it to all the participants so that everyone has an uniform order. Some were missing a dessert and beverage. And some didn't have a good amount of chicken.

Try Kabuliwala Chicken biriyani (kolkata style) or Biriyani By Kilos (less spicy hyderabadi biryani or maybe kolkata biriyani). They're like SUPERB! So light, so fragrant and is very easy to digest.

I think nothing can ever beat 'Malabar dum biriyani' for sure no doubt 😌💯 bcoz here in Kerala we use a different type of rice called 'Jeerakasala' not like 'Basmati' or any other kind of rice it has no length to it but it's soo good for biriyani🤑. As I'm typing this my mouth is watering🤤now I'm craving it soo badly 😭😭😭😋🤤🤤🤤 Love from Kerala🌴✨🙌🏻

Seems like you've never had good biryani before. Sure Malabar biriyani is okay but it doesn't hold a candle to Lucknowi and Hyderabadi. Hell, even Kolkata biriyani is better than the best of Malabar and before you say it, I'm from Kerala, ik what I'm talking about.

Kolkata style mutton/chicken biryani, paired with chicken reshmi kabab. Wash it down with masala ThumsUp (lemon juice, black salt, jaljeera, mint leaves). Finish the meal with firni. That's how you should have biryani.
