The Kolkata Biriyani you had, that definitely didn't look like Kolkata style biriyani at all.. The authentic Kolkata biriyani is the Mutton Biriyani.. we don't have fish biriyani here..

Hii 😊 I'm a Bengali and I'm from Kolkata.. Apne bola kabab mein haddi lag rehi hain alunn 🥔 but in Kolkata Biriyani is incomplete without ALU and Boiled Egg

It's not the fault of the cast, they are amazing but now every video feels the same, initially when they started the channel it was lot about experimenting with content, they were making a lot of different types of video.. We appreciate the effort you guys put in with each video but it feels like the "Ok tested" essence has lost and it has less to do with the anchors (though we miss Arushi, Josh etc) and more with the content.

I just felt the anchors lacked some knowledge about the culinary background and parameters of biryani and what makes each biryani authentic. They could have talked more about the tenderness of the meat or chicken, type of rice and how each biryani is different from the other for example moradabadi biryani isn't meant to have alot of spices like hyderabadi biryani but that doesn't mean it not tasty. Biryani is not just about spices but much more than that.

What is Assamese Biriyani? Being an Assamese I never heard of it.😄😄 Also we don't put so much spice in our food. It seems dat biriyani was made of only chilli powder or chilli paste.

Few reasons i stopped this video halfway through - stop with the BIRYANI we get it - where’s the old chirpy cast - be creative maybe start a new series like the old times, where there were teams and people would score and compete to win, that was fun to watch.

I think Donne Biryani is most underrated biryani of all. Looks like no one has tasted it and mostly because not available outside Karnataka. As a Kashmiri i must say there is nothing like Kashmiri Biryani 😆

Considering Ok-tested based at Delhi, you cannot get a authentic Hyderabadi , kolkata , lucknowi or Kashmiri biryani etc etc style for that matter as they homeland for these biryani itself will have 100s of minor variations with a list of top 10 restaurant within their own city/state. Not dissing you video/content - just now well planned or well executed , as I feel its injustice to taste something which is not authentic to that place, I feel like trying Chole Bhature or chole kulche in tamilnadu and say "They dont taste good"

Until 5:37 , I had already started crushing over Vivek, after watching few of his videos on OK Tested. The moment he said aloo should be banned, mera dil toot gaya. But again at 7:49, after having the aloo in Kolkata biryani, my heart was repaired. I'm from Kolkata and biryani without aloo is something unimaginable for us. Bhale hi meat na ho, par aloo toh hona hi chahiye.. 😂😂😂😂 And also, fish biryani is a thing and it's called *"Maahi Biryani"* . The method of making it is slightly different from that of meat biryani, and also, the pieces with less fish bones are taken for preparing one such. My mom has made it many a times.
