I'm so glad I gave QT's content a honest chance, I actually enjoy her stuff more than Ludwig's a lot of the time. She genuinely feels like she's being real, a lot of the humor is stuff I can watch shamelessly in a mixed group of friends, and she's just a good performer period. Definitely underrated, will be orbiting more content in the future

RECIPE to my best estimates Ingredients 1 cup butter ¾ cup white sugar ¾ cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 ¼ cup plain flour 1 tsp baking soda † ½ tsp salt ½ cup chocolate chips (or to your hearts desire) Method 1. Cream together butter and sugars - whisk until well combined & butter has visibly lightened. 2. Add eggs & vanilla to the creamed mixture, whisk to combine. 3. In a different bowl, add flour, baking soda, and salt. 4. Add the dry ingredients into the wet, whisk to combine. 5. Add chocolate chips, whisk to combine. 6. Cool your dough! chuck it in the fridge/freezer while you clean up 🥰(ALSO preheat your oven about now. you couldve done that first but i always forget. definitely do that now though. 180°C / 350°F) this is where qt stopped narrating; i dont have time rn to find the stream where she baked them to get the full cooking requirements so ill go off my favorite cookie recipe. (Cafe Delites - Chocolate Chip Cookies) it looks like she whisks some dough 10:52, idk if thats her dough after cooling, or her making a new batch. 7. Use a large spoon/iceream scoop to scoop balls of dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Give them plenty of space, ~10 c / ~3 inches between each ball, make multiple trays if you gotta. 8. Put them in the oven! top shelf, for 10 minutes / until just risen & golden brown. Every oven is different. Keep an eye on them. 9. if you have self control by all means let them cool; theyll solidify more as they cool if youre worried theyre "not done yet" if youre normal though go ahead and burn your mouth on red hot gooey cookies. life is what you make it. - † throughout the boys baking she also mentions baking powder but its not in this video (it might be on the stream?). i assume youre supposed to use both. probably a teaspoon of baking powder, add it @ at the same time as the soda. if you dont have it it looks like she doesnt even use it so i have NO idea if it matters. my favorite cookie recipe also doesnt use baking powder (or any extra acid. weird.) *tl;dr baking powder*; skip it or add a tsp. whatever you feel with your heart. And for curiosities sake whisky in cookie dough is a _thing_ ; treat it like you would vanilla essence (more than any recipe suggests but dont liquify your dough with it. like start with a teaspoon & half a shot MAX)

Just FYI, you need baking soda OR baking powder. Not both. Soda requires a liquid and acid to activate as a leavening agent, powder already has the acid and only needs the liquid. Brown sugar has molasses, which is the acid baking soda needs. So use whichever you want, neither is better or worse.
