From Izaya being born on the original Genesis planet as the son of the tyrannical Old god leader Yuga Khan and older brother of Darkseid, gaining immense superpowers from a passing Sky god and the unique energies of The Source, constant incursions against his peaceful kingdom New Genesis by Darkseid's Apokolips forces leading to a son swapping peace treaty wherein he exchanged his son Mister Miracle for Darkseid's son Orion, his conscience temporarily leaving him as the physical manifestation known as Infinity Man, multiple conflicts with various Lantern Corps and the White Lantern Kyle Rayner while seeking out the unbelievable reality-warping power of The Life Equation, to ultimately realizing the error of his staunch campaign against his brother and reclaiming a degree of his peaceful nature; Let's take a look at this extremely powerful DC anti-hero, and the formidable leader of the New gods of New Genesis. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

As much as Darkseid goes out of his way to cause chaos all over the universe, I'm surprised I never see Highfather trying to fix or protect the things that Darkseid does.

Highfather only interferes when it's absolutely necessary, most of the time he allows his lower subjects to help save, fix or liberate worlds under the subjugation and domination of darkseid and his dark forces of apocalypse other than that he doesn't get involved when his younger brother goes out there conquering and dominating in the multiverse cause such things are beneath him. Now if darkseid threatens the multiverse itself, that's when he'll come in and put a smackdown to his brother darkseid.

Well it says Darkseid was reborn not just as a New God, but more or less the embodiment of Tyranny. Something along the lines of all his shards coming together? Can't remember the specifics but its like the universe got so much bigger and better, but at the cost of an even more powerful great evil.

@@405boy4 not sure what you mean, the average high of comic hero is 6 foot, so most male characters are 6 ft tall superman is 6ft 1 i think lol , batman similar. definitely maybe you comparing him to the huge guys like doomsday and darksied who are probably close to 7 feet. high father has never looked 7 feet to me, thats basket ball player height. rule of thumb always assume most male characters are around 6 feet, unless they obviously look taller than other characters their standing next to giants / monsters are usually 9 feet + and taller like hulk, abomination, etc shape shifters and giants vary like the anti moniter, galactus or celestials, those dudes can be upto 2000 feet tall , scyskrapper tall

@@405boy4 No , Negative, youre conflating the two, the average male height in REAL LIFE is 5.9ft yes, but the average SUPERHERO height for males is 6 feet. so youre not wrong, just wrong about comics height and i dunno what video you talking about because in this video he wasnt "towering" over anyone. hes just a regaular size guy in the media ive seen him in, cartoons, comic, etc and also in this video you can see he just looks normal height for race. hes only 6,4 ft, and your eyes might be getting tricked because hes the new gods leader and in most of the images hes usually standing in the FRONT of his troops so he appears bigger and taller ill give you that. but hes just normal size infact when hes shown battling darkseid who is close to 8 feet you can see how much smaller highfather is to darkseid

I'm not going to lie the high father is kind of a d word. Depending on what story he's in sometimes I like his character and sometimes I really hate his character.because new genesis is one of those places where basically they're living under an evolved form of dictatorship. True there are rules and laws governing new genesis but I don't know his character just flip flops around to me. And I guess that's okay I don't outright hate him I just don't like what they do with this character.

Just an off the wall thought. I was wondering, did the mother(s) of Orion and Kalibak die in child birth? Did they spring from the same mother? Which is the elder of the two boys? Why does Orion look more human and Kalibak more beast like? At least I've never seen or heard them referred to? Are these children the byproduct of a Desade experiment?
