I couldn't agree more, it literally doesn't match the perceived notions I had of this man over the years. I'd never thought too much about him running for senate, but when I read what his politics are, I'm just like... Nope. Just remember that as a doctor who took a Hippocratic oath, he was perfectly fine reopening the schools during a pandemic because he found 2-3% of kids dying as an acceptable loss of life. What a monster.

You’re right. The isolation every kid had to endure as well as the decrease in educational progress was worth the 2-3% reduction, probably closer to 0.1%, of 90 year olds mortality rate who would have passed away within a couple months regardless.

@@allyabernathy4098 I think people are also confusing the actual child death rate with what Oz said. First, arguing some lower percentage of dead children (and dead adults considering children are also a disease vector) is an exercise in vileness on its own (i.e. Holocaust deniers trying to justify it by claiming fewer Jews died than officially reported). Second, Dr. Oz stated that 2 to 3 percent child mortality from Covid was an acceptable alternative to temporarily closing down schools. He specifically mentioned the percentages and that they would be an acceptable price to pay.

I’ve tried for years to give these people the benefit of the doubt and whenever you try to give them the opportunity to say they didn’t mean XYZ, they double down instead. i’ve come to the conclusion that not only are they just as bad as the losers they vote for, but the love the fact that they are and relish any chance to “trigger the libs.” it could be that they’re just confused, but i wouldn’t hold much hope for that.

At least John Fetterman was born in Pennsylvania, was raised in Pennsylvania and has a history of benefiting the poorer people if Pennsylvania. He was mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania for thirteen years. *Braddock Pennsylvania,* read about Braddock Pennsylvania. Dr. Oz wouldn't set foot in it at night let alone walk the streets at night. He's not fit to serve in Pennsylvania. So why isn't he running for office in New Jersey, Florida, California or somewhere he's actually lived? Maybe it has to do with Pennsylvania, Arizona and those other "swing states"? The Republicans are preparing for the next Presidential election. Edit: Added a word for clarification.

Dr Oz explain to me this..I've know many people, family members, friends and co-workers who run miles daily, eat healthy, go to gyms or workout at home do everything to stay healthy and still had heart attacks, stroke and some have died while others eat whatever they want never exercise are overweight and are still either us...so..John Fedderman had a stroke because he never ate vegetables huh.?

For not eating vegetables, as claimed, Fetterman knows his way around a vegetable tray and where to find the prepared one. He also looks pretty fit. The stroke thing? A CVA can happen for several reasons, high blood pressure is one. I sure would hate to think someone would discount all the veggies and salads I've eaten if I do ever have a stroke.

My late husband grew up next door to the Oz family. In Wilmington Delaware. They both went to an expensive private boarding school and were in some same sports. My ex was a pothead.. , I’m not sure what Mehmet did, but all the students I knew from The Tower Hill School were spoiled rich kids that were able to get out of any legal trouble with $$$$$.

Yeah, that really made me ill. That's terrible for anyone to do. Where's PETA when you want them? First the 4,000 dogs in Virginia, then these 300+ being made sick and tortured. This is so wrong.
