Gen seems to always be on the verge of sickness, but never dying. It's almost as if Gen has the power to heal himself and become more powerful than he is, if he just went beyond his killing intent.

And we realize that thing is it was confusing since in english the language that we speak is actually "jen". Also since gen is from hong kong in chinese it would be the same way. Its the same way we say "sagat" instead of "suhgot". In future videos tell us how it would be more favorable for you guys. Our deepest apologies 🙏 and thanks for watching

I enjoyed the video of and the character. It looks so like they killed him for good in SFV Akuma's story mode. Only time will tell.

This is one of the issues with fighting games when it comes to storytelling. It’s near impossible to deal with death in a meaningful or respectful way without hindering gameplay possibilities and fan demand. On the one hand, the lore geek in me would like for Gen to stay dead as he finally got what he’s been praying and searching for since 1996. On the other.......I want to play as Gen in SF6 lol. Hell I wanted to play as him in SFV. The only ones who really honor death in their fighting games(to an extent) is SNK. Typically once their characters are dead....they’re DEAD. They refuse to bring Rugal back despite popular demand. And only just now brought back Chris, Yashiro and(can’t remember her name)who died all the way back in like 2002.

You said Gen's name with a "J" sound. Say the word "again" (uh -gen). You're pronouncing his name with a J sound like "June", "Jolly", "Jumping" with a "juh" sound instead of a "guh" sound. His name is Gen, not Jen

More than likely Oro. Gen is no slouch but Oro is undoubtedly top tier.

It would favor Oro, if Oro was fighting one handed, since Oro and Akuma fought to a stalemate, while Gen lost to a fully powered non-shin Akuma and lost.

Oro is only behind to Akuma (Shin and Oni versions only), he's stronger than base Akuma, and slightly stronger than Gouken who is 3rd in SF power scaling IMO.
