I think it’s cause BTS’s main target market like any KPOP group is young girls, whenever they’re live somewhere and I sit w my parents and they show their fans majority are screaming Young girls and I’ll see maybe once or twice a boy or someone older so I can’t rlly deny that to them or irl, so I think it’s that judgement that she’s only seen and societally associated boyband w young girls that she was shook this grown manly man liked them, and I think it was good acc that she now knows those jealous delulu army sending her hate don’t represent the whole fandom there is diversity and there r good fans

John Cena being a legit ARMY is so incredible. And he gets it, they have a message on top of the crazy good entertainment of their work. I will also say John Cena seems like a very genuinely wholesome dude, Make A Wish’s record holder for most wishes granted, goes out of his way to protect and care for his fans, he just seems like a good dude. John is actually a real army, he gets it. western media and western people who cant be bothered looking up translations and learning new concepts or cultures will never get it and ridicule them instead because they dont understand what it is that the fans really love. the kind of positivity and meaningful messages are what make the fans feel a real connection to them - we understand and love what they write about. actually he is also deeply appreciated on korea. i watched a lot of people asking koreans on the street about bts and most of them knew almost always RM! in variety shows most of the time RMs the one most known! The main reason was bcs he was a top performer in the national exam and his english fluency and bcs several legendary korean artists have collaborated with him . And also by korean standards most of them find RM the hottest

I am so grateful for John Cena. Imagine our constant frustration at being belittled and reduced to 'obsessed young screaming girls' by ignorant individuals who know next to nothing about BTS, yet unhesitatingly dismiss them as 'kpop boys' and imply that their main pull factor is their looks. It's so hard to stand up for ourselves too, because when we speak up to politely point it out, they go "you see? they're crazy". EDIT: Hello, I didn't expect this comment to blow up.
