Eurovision is my passion. Eurovision was my work and I am still gladly part of the professional community of this project. I started at Eurovision 2016 as Czech Head of Delegation. Such a Eurovision story! Form Eurovision in Sweden I went to antoher ESC experience. Kiiv 2017 Eurovision. This was my first and last failiur. Sometimes you need to learn trough losing even it is not plasant. We ended up 13 in the semifinal, second best score of Eurovision Czechia back then. But after this we established ESCZ national selection format. It was mostly held online. Because of this we found Mikolas Josef who went 6th at Eurovision 2018 in Portugal. Than 11th with Lake Malawi, at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Eurovision story is crazy. After finding all candidates and songs (-1) for ESCZ 2020 I resigned and left the television for working freelance.
Not to stop being part of Eurovision, I created this channel as I have an urge not to do just Eurovision Reactions from a different perspective. But also to do national selection reactions, watch others how they do their craft and also give a different approach for Eurovision fans.
I am very glad was part of many eurovision juries. Mostly in national selection and since 2017 I was in MGP Norway (MGP 2017, MGP 2023, MGP 2024 as a spokesperson), Eurovision Malta, UMK national selection Finland. Juror in Melodifestivalen 2016. Biggest national selection. Also helped Eurovision Ireland, Eurovision Estonia, Eurovision Azerbaijan and many others.
And then I became Eurovision KZfaqr.

The song will be released early March. I expect a mix of Dutch Happy Hardcore sounds with some other International Euro surprises and ofcourse a crazy funny Party. Cant wait!

@@JanBorsthere's a theory that joost will perform his song for the first time in march. Thats because he anounced 2 shows, one on a thursday and the other one pn friday. The show on thursday is Phone free, something he hasnt done before. People believe that on that show he will record the video clip for his song

Really love your reaction, think you are totally right. This is going to be something totally different that people are used from the Netherlands the last years. He's claiming it is going to be something nostalgic and typical Dutch. So I assume it has something to do with gabber/electronic music what was great and universal in the 90's and has it's origin in the Netherlands. All we can do is wait for the song! I hope for the best, wouldn't be less than last year that's for sure! Toi toi toi for Joost (say; Yo-st 😉)

Florida 2009 is a song about his parents. He lost them at a very young age. The song papa en mama is also about them, but if you translate Florida 2009 you get lost inside his head and his heart. Very unique artist

They'll release the song around the end of February/March. I've been at his show once a few years ago and it was such a small crowd. It's crazy how far he's come and well deserved. He actually started out at as a KZfaqr and then moved onto music. But because of his background he still produces and edits his own music videos

"Friesenjung" was a HUGE hit in Germany and hit #1 for like a month. I have to say that I'm not a fan of "Florida 2009" even tho it obviously has an important and heartfelt message but i hate the way its more poetry slam than a song. But if he does smth like "Friesenjung" - I'm totally in, I love that song.

I am pretty sure he will do more likely the Friesenjung than Florida as Florida is just alone message in his whole playlist. It is an intimate piece. The rest is mostly fast driven party fun.
