1990, I was 8. Saul is an amazing actor. He was great in “Warehouse 13”.

One of the best episode of TNG. From Worf's concerned "Data" when the shuttle explodes to Picard mistakenly calling Worf "Data" on the bridge are just perfect moments in a great episode. 🖖

Saul Rubinek plays a collector in the show Warehouse 13, which has many Trek Alumni as guest stars, namely Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Kate Mulgrew. Worth a watch

When he breaks down and starts crying when he's telling the story of his childhood that turns out to be a complete lie. Incredible acting in such a short time frame. Similar to how David Warner came in at the 11th hour for the two-part episode chain of command and read most of his dialogue dialogue from cue cards just off camera.

Rubinec knocked it out of the park. I loved him in The Family Man

There is a NAM for Tasha. "This is the 2nd time you're replaced a crew memeber" and the hologram was also a mention of her as well.

I have an interesting memory about this from about 10 years ago. My oldest dog was still fairly new to me (she's not doing well, but she's still here) and I was watching this and the scene with the guy with the metal shit in his face pulls out a magnifying glass. You can see his eye like 10x bigger. Abby went a little crazy. She jumped right up. Ran up to the TV looked at the tv, then looked behind the TV. She was very confused. I've seen this at least 2 or 3 times since then. She doesn't give a crap anymore. lol

Probably my most collectable collectible is my Theodore Roosevelt 1904 celluloid pinback campaign button, though my favorite of my collection would likely be my George McGovern posterboard.

A very TOS-ish episode this one IMO. I had heard the story about David Rappaport but didn't realise they had filmed some of the episode before he was replaced. I have seen in other things throughout the 80s. I hadn't known that Saul Rubineck was cast at such short notice and I am even more impressed by his performance. He definitely get the home run from me.⚾️ It was interesting to watch the side comparison between the two performances, but difficult to compare as Kivas Fajo's menace builds throughout the episode. I think Data fired because he knew that if he simply escaped Fajo would continue collecting items and harming beings. He had no way of knowing that the Enterprise was near and about to rescue him. So he shot him to save further suffering. He didn't have to lie about it though. 🤔 I noticed how spartan Data's quarters are compared with the more comfortable human quarters. An episode that stays with you. NAMs - Lolita Fajo, Tasha Yar and Pike.

I used to be big into batman cards. I had the full collection at one point. I don't anymore. However my mom saved the spares. I have the spares now. lol I don't really care about them. lol In terms of objects I love my computers a lot. Except for the laptops I've built all my computers. I even repaired my Commodore 64 (1985) that I purchased in 2017. I also love my 3d printers. I have a prusa mk3 (The dark lord chris mcgee has one) and a prusa mk4. Both equipped with MMU for colors. I love making stuff with my printers. I have a model that I made of the 1979 enterprise. It was the first model I ever made in blender back in 2017. It was one of the first things I printed.

Another fantastic episode of both T7R and TNG, with Saul Rubinek really stealing the show as a last minute replacement!

I've seen this episode too many times. When I was watching it this time I'm like.....he's picking his nose! And then Ryan made a big deal about it too. I've never noticed before.

Playing the character he did Saul Rubinec was well acquainted with portraying such a fiend. Check out his recurring portrayal of a character you quickly come detest during the first season of the classic 1985 t to 1989 series The Equalizer starring the late, great English actor Edward Woodward, and you’ll more than amply see what I mean. As to that dude with the third nostril: the actor hired to portray him was non other than the unforgettably capable Nehemiah Persoff whom I’ve always admired as greatly as one of his contemporaries: the late, and gifted Alfred Ryder who featured prominently in the early first season episode of the original Star Trek that centered around a creature’s transformative ability to convincingly become Doctor McCoy’s former love interest i . e. Referred to as Nancy the salt sucker creature.

This guy was the 2nd guy to play Kivas Fajo. The original guy had to back out or something. I've seen footage of him. He played it as a creepy dude. This guy played him to be a little bit charming. Even though he's a total ass you can't hate him.

I used to sleep in my clothes. So I don't think it's that unusual that geordi was.

In season 7 it was mentioned that data loved to run around naked. They had to program a modesty subroutine to make him wear clothing.

"we're boring 75% of our audience".....lol.....my parents forced me to go to church a lot. At least during the super bowl (which I don't give a crap about) it's better because everyone else is watching that while I was playing N64 (yes we had a game room with N64 and PS1's setup at church.....possibly dreamcast I don't recall). They had door prizes. I won a signed football from some college guy. I don't think it's worth anything. In fact my dad pretty much confirmed it the last time I saw him. So I guess this guy never got anywhere. I've never given a crap about it. The only reason I have it is because I was worried it would offend my father if I got rid of it. lol I guess I can get rid of it now. He made it clear it wasn't worth anything. lol
