Kinda fits the M.O. of Iron Man though Tony’s company makes weapons intended to end conflict by taking out the enemy… Tonys’ company’s tech gets stolen or sold or replicated and used for evil Tony has to clean up the mess and doesn’t think he’ll make a few enemies along the way I can’t say I understand why Whiplash would join that counsel of supervillains looking to take over the world though. Whiplash doesn’t seem to want to take over the world or even his own region, he just wants revenge on Tony If Tony hadn’t developed the Iron Man tech, then nothing anywhere remotely like it would’ve existed to be used against the town where Whiplash’s father ultimately died With that said I do think there should’ve been a tense understanding that it wasn’t as much Tony’s fault as Whiplash thought it was, but I also think there’s zero chance that whiplash should be a thread to Tony in any way once Stark got a proper suit on him 25’ long whips… cool… Tony can fly and hover just SLIGHTLY more than that… like ~maybe~ 35’ … 40’ tops…

I liked this character and I know some don't but I love they use Whiplash in Iron Man 2 as the big bad; to me, both the comics and live action movie give Whiplash a good back drop storyline and your summary of the character (6:25), was spot on fantastic.
