I noticed that in his NP, he summons the silhouette of Yamata no Orochi. A nice callback referencing the sword's origin

I do find it a little funny and interesting that they decided to keep their gender ambiguous in this game, neither confirming or denying what their true gender is.

Since Samurai Remnant, Yamato is my most favourit Saber. And I really think, that Yamato is a male saber face. Sure he has the same apetite as Artoria and reacts often in a childish way, but he also has a lot of male reactions and ways to talk. So, in my headcanon, Yamato is a male in the nasu verse.

I like that they keep their gender a secret because that way everyone that feels attracted to Takeru has equal chances of being gay or straight I call it Schrodinger's Wood

Regardless of Saber's gender and the teasing from other characters, I'm glad Iori didn't end up with a romantic interest by the end of the game. Tamamo Aria *kind of* counts, but for the most part Iori seemed uninterested, and just wanted ot help out like he does with everyone else. Glad to see that he shares Shirou's and Muramasa's sword sexual attribute.

I like the fact they kept Saber's gender ambiguous. While they have a saberface, they don't look overly feminine to me so they did a gread job hiding it. The voice of Takeru as well sure sounds feminine but also sounds like that of a young boy in his teens

Yamato's NP reminds me of Summer Ibuki's NP. Like the water Orochi that they use

This makes me think of the inevitable hilarity that will happen on the FGO Colab. Calling it now, ibuki killed them cause she had the hots for saber.

Yamato takeru is known for 2 things, being the bastard that changed the name of the sword that was born from the essence of the godlike snake yamato orochi, from amenomurakumo no tsugiri (the heavenly sword of gathering clouds) to kusaragi no tsugiri (grasscutting sword). And now is known in fate for being one of the few no god-divine servants to have a EX rank anti world noble phantasm, why? Because the sword is the essence of orochi and fuck you, thats why

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the servant reveals were a miss for the most part. Most of the characters were only really know by those raised in Japan and their culture. For anyone outside of Japan, they literally had to google who they were. Kind of a downer.
