He clearly just dislikes Chelsea, which is fine, but he should just be honest next time. Nobody ever wants to bring up how Chelsea lost their entire squad due to the takeover as well. To pick them over United, who’ve also spent close to a billion as well, is a bit silly given how their seasons have gone recently.

@@19keverick91 well they certainly weren't forced to start from scratch, it's what they wanted to do. So far it hasn't been very successful, but I believe eventually the players they have bought will show their potential and Chelsea will probably challenge for the title within the next two seasons.

yeah raya has been kinda average tbh. his expected goals saved is at -2.66, the likes of Ederson, Vicario, Pickford and Martinez all rank higher. Imo cleansheets is more a reflection of the overall defensive performance, xgs is a better metric for keepers specifically

I don’t think poch underachieved with Chelsea this season. They reached two cup finals whiched they could have won, but poch can’t go onto the pitch and finish the chances they had in both finals . Also compared to last year they looking like to qualified for Europe. I don’t get it with everyone saying Chelsea spent this amount of money. Yes they did but sold or lost half of the squad last year (koulibaly,Mendy,kovacic, Kante,pulisic,loftus cheek, azpi etc... Of course now you have to buy new players when you sell half the squad. Yes the transfer politic is questionable of Chelsea but that’s not pochs fault.

Helps when you cheat and have bench players that would go into the 1st team of majority of the league. Their benched keeper bests all but martinez, pickford, ederson, allison, and maybe vicario/raya. Their benched defenders fit in all the teams bar arsenal. Their benched midfield same thing. Their benched wingers and striker like doku, alvarez starts for any team below 6th. 115fc and cheating with the squad depth crazy wages and keeping top class players on the bench, buy a guy for 50+ mil and then just bench him next season and buy a new guy for 60+ mil to replace him with.

Why do United get a pass for being 8th just because they’ve had injuries? Chelsea are challenging for the Europa league and they’ve had just as many, if not more injuries this season. Im a gooner but Raya as best goalkeeper... hes made a lot of mistakes and very little saves over the season. He dropped Ramsdale for his mistakes and Raya has made just as many this season leading to goals

Since last season Chelsea have sold or loaned out: 1. Mendy and Kepa - both their GKs 2. Azpi, Kouli - 2 of their starting back 4 3. Kante, Kova, Jorgi, Mount, RLC, Hall, Gilmour, Ampadu - entire midfield including depth 4. Havertz, Puli, Auba, CHO, Ziyech - major chunk of their FWDs This has forced the owners to go out and spend big. Context is important when speaking about spending 1 billion.

I think there should be a category of PL player of season of defenders cause its difficult to select a defender over a striker because all is considered are only goals which is so unfair

The guy that choose Chelsea as the underachievers... Despite the ups and downs, Chelsea were in the League Cup final, semi final of the FA cup and now 6th position in the league and you called that underachiement it's a joke. You talk about united injury crisis, have you seen Chelsea's??. This team consist of a lot of first timers and less experience EPL players... At some point, Chelsea was the team that created most chances... We don't call that underachievers... Burnley is clearly in that bracket... We expected more from Kompany and his boy but they gave nothing in return

History won’t be kind to Luton Town but if you go game by game, especially agaisnt the top 6-8 clubs. They played very well for how small they are. Arsenal had to score 2 goals in the 80/90th min to beat them 4-3, they had 2-1s against City, Liverpool etc.

Dont get why everyone is calling out Robbie in the comments. The rest of the panel all picked Raya and Saliba for player of the season was a well argued case and Arteta for manager of the season is also fair especially as Arsenal could still win the league. He also didnt put Rice for siging of the season when someone else did. People just want to hate and have ended up being more biased than the person they are calling out for being biased.
