When you go around him there’s no competition, drama, he understands being a husband, a dad and when you see him it’s at a strip club. Which also was a top tier power move by Sil.. he owns the family’s de facto headquarters.

Tony for sure is the most toxic. He destroys people wherever he goes, and he's way more like Livia than he or many fans of the show would care to admit. The difference between him and her is he has way more agency, influence and power.

I'm gonna argue that in an extremely roundabout way Janice IS responsible for Bobby's death because by marrying him she pushed him to get closer to Tony and Tony felt obligated to bring him into the inner circle. If Bobby isn't Tony's brother-in-law he almost certainly never becomes his underboss and is subsequently never targeted by New York.

Short answer to this rhetorical question: "Who was the most Toxic character in the show ( all seasons)? Anthony Soprano Sr. After season 2, and especially during the final season, it is fairly obvious that Tony was the most evil and toxic fictional character to ever grace the silver screen. He was the epitome of evil. A better and more challenging question to ask would be: Who was the most endearing and decent character in this show, considering how everyone was a scumbag of sorts?

As Livia, Johnny-Boy, and the environment Tony & Janice grew up in are the wellspring of all they became, Livia and Johnny-Boy are responsible. Livia is the most abhorrent of all the Soprano's and Tony was right when he told his mom, if she had been born in the 70's, she would be the one running the family and not Tony.

For me personally everybody on this show was toxic and horrible in their own ways. But in terms of choosing, who is the most toxic Soprano family member, that’s tough, because nobody in the family was innocent not even Carmela, AJ and Meadow. This show shows you that in all aspects of life in terms of the human race is that nobody in this world is truly good of course, people in this world may like to act like they’re good and act like they’re perfect but in reality, that’s not the case because throughout all the great things about the show, but the one great thing in particular is how the show makes you, feel about the characters how it makes you go from rooting for the characters one moment and then making you hate them another because that’s what the show does. It shows you the good and the bad amongst the characters in because at the end of the day the show has to remind you that you really shouldn’t be rooting for any of these characters because they’re all not good people, and basically everybody sucks in this show, but if I had to choose personally, who is the most toxic Soprano ‘s it would for me have to go to Livia because she is the one who is responsible for all the toxicity, and she’s also responsible for the horrible person that her son turned out to be and she’s also essentially responsible for the hood rat that Janice turned out to be and even when she passed her toxicity and her negative influence continued to carry on because that’s how much of an affect she had on everybody in the show.

I say hands down Tony, while he's not as miserable as the ladies, he certainly miserable enough, and with his power and influence and huge circle around him, he en mass spreads more misery through more lives then Livia and Janice combined, practically exponentially. And it's not by chance, his ambition and influence, personal attributes, he used, inadvertently or not to spread misery through so many lives. And if you're saying quality or quantity, Janice killed one person, how many did Tony drive to suicide? At least two right off the top of my head probably more. Hands down Tony

JANICE ,even slightly more than Tony, was the MOST toxic Soprano cause she had the worst of Johnny Boy AND Livia in her. Tony was more like Livia than he wanted. AJ early on was emotionless one minute but whiny the next like Livia(later he was a male Janice) and Carmela.Meadow was more like Livia and Tony in her teen angst period but later stoic like Johnny Boy and calculated like Carmela.
