Actually lord Shiva and lord Vishnu both are devotees of one another and are equally powerfull. Whenever they fought the whole universe began to destroy and no result came out. They are actually one. They are many 18 puranas in Sanatan dharm. In shiv puran it is said shiva is the greatest, in Vishnu Puran , Vishnu is greatest, in Brahma puran Brahma is greatest, in bhagvad puran Krishna is greatest who is the 8th avatar of Vishnu. And shiva will not destroy the universe after the Kali Yuga , it will happen after the completion of a kalpa ( one day in Brahma lok ).

As well for others, Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, I don't know about Goddess Shakti (so I'll edit when I confirm) are there in each and every universe but they are also one existence there is of themselves. Which means they are there as unique god in multiverse as well as universe.

Honestly there are multiple versions of the same story in Hindu Purans। In such a different version the 'Samusdra Manthan' happened to bring back Laxmi Debi to this world। Because without her this world lost her happiness, harmony and peace। Halahal n Amrit were like side product। N Mahadeb/Shiv couldn't tolerate that poison for long। Then his daughter/ 'manas kanya' Mansa Debi consumed all of that n saved both her Father n Universe। These two parts r often absent in most of 'Samusdra Manthan' stories।

Lord Krishna and lord Shiva are the same. They are the reflection of each other. Lord Shiva is summoned to destroy matter and anti matter too. So, lord brahma can create it again, and do his karma.
