If my math is correct, you are absolutely correct! If we go by the average bar of gold weight traded internationally, it would be about 12.4 kg. And if the length matches the width of these gold cubes, that would be 8x8x24 gold bars, getting us to a nice total of 1,536 total gold bars per cube bulk, leading to the whole thing, not counting the platform he is also trying to lift with them, to be a whopping 19,046 kg! Meanwhile, even the heaviest elephant ever recorded, a male African savanna elephant, was only clocked in at a measly 10,886 kg. The pile of gold is nearly double the weight. Seems Mammoth needed a nice training arc between the two seasons if he wanted the gold so badly.

Interesting. I didn't see this before I commented a similar thing. I used the maximum elephant weight of 24,000 pounds (approximate for the largest on record) and pointed out that while we only see 7 deep, it wouldn't be unreasonable for them to be stacked 8*8. Either way, the pallet of gold bars were far heavier than Beast Boy likely was.

Well, it's certainly reasonable to only use what is seen, but it wouldn't inherently make it more accurate. The only way to know that would be to know which was closer to the actual value, which is unknown. Still, I just thought it was cool that others had had a similar idea.@@RobticRobyn

I suggest watching Young Justice! She has much more presence in that show and has a pretty interesting character.

She was semi-canon in DC but was horribly misused and left to rot after 2009 soft-reboot. Now she's retired and a local political advisor with 4 kids.

3 months late cut there’s tons of misplacements. Brother blood has teleportation, mind control powers, telekinesis, and telekinetic construction. And his magic is a lot stronger than base raven’s magic, cyborg shot at him with an amplifier and his force field protected him, and if it was raven it would have broken her force field a few times over and knock her out. And he has high knowledge in technology, Terra’s powers are destructive, but his are easily more destructive due to his telekinesis, and his Magic’s strength being a lot above Terra’s magics strength, and he has knowledge in technology. So with preparation time he can probably be a god, with only raven in her demon or white form, trigon, malchior (depending on his power extent), maybe Larry, and maybe the witch could stop him. Black fire can fly faster than the speed of light (raven in starfires body flew into Robin at extreme speeds in switched, and that didn’t seem to be anywhere near her full speed.) and black fire has force fields, realistically only brother blood, malchior, skath slade, maybe mother Mae eye, maybe the witch, trigon, and so on could stop her. Kyd wykkyd deserves top 10. Jinx deserves much higher. Malchior is probably above skath slade. And so on.

Technical fouls dont discount their strengths and tactical weaknesses so I agree. Technically the harold can remove anyone who cant teleport fron a battle but doesnt make them any less strong. If he wanted to take everyone out he could just summon a blackhole like when he helped Raven.

blood has some kind of magic ability. but was hooked up with cyborg parts. so i could see it as cyborg hacking into brother blood and using his own magic against himself. thats why you dont mix magic and tech in one body

True, Robin loses to Terra because he wanted to help her turn good again but Red x wouldn't care he'd probably just figure out that visibility is her weakness and shoot a X towards her eyes so she can't see plus he's equipped with many other gadgets if things start to get rocky.

I agree with your sentiment here, with one (technically 2) exceptions. I think his shear power, crazy durability, and monstrous access to magic would put him above Blood, and Slade. I mean, you obviously wouldn't say that Blood and Slade would be capable of taking down Trigon, because Trigon wouldn't bother preparing, while the two of them would. Its the same concept, just to a much lesser degree.

@@ikeillue8385 The difference is that Malchior's shown to be effectively defeated by mortal magic (from admittedly powerful mages), which Blood or Slade would not only be willing to seek out, but also do everything to make sure they get the chance to use it (Slade used magic in Forces of Nature and Blood went to extreme of modifying himself to beat Cyborg). Trigon, on the other hand, is actually at the point where all strategy is meaningless without the raw power of a cosmic-level entity or a mystic connection to him. I also didn't say Malchior wasn't a more dangerous threat. I'm just saying if it came down to a direct confrontation, I think it's likely Blood or Slade would have a 'dragon go away' button and they would be using as effectively as possible. And I fully think he could still win that fight because he could interrupt them before they use it on him. He just wouldn't know that's what he needed to do until they started.

@@Auron3991 Malchior was defeated by one specific spell, from one of the most famous sorcerers in history (assumedly he is one of the most powerful, if his legend is so well known.), that was specifically designed to, not overpower Malchior (because he couldn't overpower Malchior), but to temporarily seal him away. Frankly, I don't see Slade or Blood being capable of developing a spell of that magnitude, or even being capable of using a spell of that magnitude. I get that reasoning. I just think its not very likely that either of those characters would find access to such a power that would be required to do away with Malchior. Its possible, just unlikely.

Kind of off topic but raven is more powerful than malchior, trigon despite losing most of his power traveling to earth is still more powerful and more endurant than malchior, and white raven is supposed to be more powerful than trigon, so white raven and demon raven are more powerful than trigon. Even without the spells malchior taught raven, she is still immortal powerful than him. Also she already knew a ton of spells before malchior taught her spells, and she does have reality bending powers in the cartoon, as seen in fractured (what she said when she stole cyborgs mouth) And she can use her white soul self on malchior as seen at the end of the end part 3, but I am not sure if malchior taught her that pr not.

Tbf... all the characters were way powerful in the comics. Not just brother blood

I don't hate him, but he does fall a bit flat compared to the other big bads. In the comics he's really dark and most closely associated with Raven, so perhaps it's not surprising they struggled to capture the essence of him in a child-friendly setting while shifting the association onto a very different Titan. At least with Slade and Terra, making them more child-friendly didn't require a total re-write of their characters. Meanwhile the Brotherhood of Evil originated in silver age Doom Patrol silliness, so would always be OK for kids. As for Trigon... we can count our blessings that they did him properly, though they did cut out the extreme emotional trauma he put Raven through in the comics.

Madams rouge was able to extend her arms really fast, has regeneration and tons of resistance, I think she could take the white monster. Malchior might be above skath slade, we never see the full power extent for either (or even anywhere close) I think malchior could destroy it. I think Mumbo, Mother Mae Eye, and Mad Mod could take it. Black fire is faster than light, has extreme extreme superhuman endurance, a lot of strength, energy blasts, eye beams, force fields (or at least spheres) so I think black fire could take it. Maybe brother blood could mind control it. Jinx is really fast seen when she attacked madame rouge the first time, I think jinx could take it. Kyd Wykkyd’s cape is strong, and he can teleport pretty fast, and has portals, I think he could take it.

White Monster might be #1 if it could also copy magic abilities. Maybe it would just copy the connection Raven has to Trigon and curbstomp him. It did copy bricks which are not exactly an element.

Malchior is the second most powerful behind trigon A few might argue that malchior is more powerful than trigon, but trigon had lost much of his powers from traveling to earth, that’s why the titans we’re able to damage him, and why raven took him down with no effort. And raven didn’t us her full power extent (or anywhere close to it) on raven or malchior. Against malchior any time the titans hit him the titans damaged him more than trigon. His fire breath is stronger than white ravens magic, but raven now knows all of his spells, plus a ton more, and already had a lot of powers before that. And can warp reality. And we never saw malchior really use his spells in battle. We don’t know how strong his magic is, but raven has more spells than him. Raven could use telekinesis on malchior, use her soul self, banish him to another dimension, use her astral projection, trap him in portals, (not force fields, portals so that way he can’t break through her force fields), use spells on him, us lightning on him non stop, etc. Also some people ask why trigon needed raven yo become a portal for him, it’s because he was imprisoned. And then he lost much of his power on earth. So that’s why he was weak in the last episodes. And malchior fire breathe is stronger than white raven magic, but he isn’t. And he hasn’t used his magic, and raven has more spells than him. And raven only shot beams, used a force field, threw a piece of the tower, and used lightning on him. And that lightning power doesn’t seem that power, she could probably replicate it in her blue form. Raven has sooo many spells, we haven’t seen malchior use spells or magic, and raven already has several powers. Malchior would need pretty powerful magic to stop ravens soul self, or he would need soul draining magic.

Except Robin with his sword, and raven were able to damage him, it’s just malchior kicked Robin out of the fight, and raven was too busy trying to deflect his drsgon breath instead of trying to attack him. And malchior is a magic user and could probably teleport back unless heralds portals are stronger than his magic, and trapped malchior in another dimension.

I really like a lot of your reasoning. There's been many comments about my ranking of Terra, and at this point I concede that I am likely overrating her. I would still love to see her hold nothing back and face a tough opponent also holding nothing back - but there's so many qualifiers and situational factors that I tended to err on her side. Like, even as I'm saying I think I may have overrated her, there's a bit part of me that still believes she could 1 v 1 defeat Beast Boy or Cyborg holding nothing back (without Slade's involvement too). But, maybe I'm too biased here. Regarding the rest of what you said... I think you make a really interesting and compelling case for Red X. I don't think him taking out the drivers during the wacky race proves he's stronger than all of those villains, since it is a very specific situation and not a full-on fight, but X is without a doubt extremely versatile, and I'd love to see a real Red X vs Slade 1 v 1 with no restrictions. Like I said in the video, the gap between Skath Slade/Trigon and everyone below them is really big. So if you want to draw a line in the sand and say those last 2 "don't count" because they're on another level, I get it. But Red X, Madame Rouge, Slade, Brother Blood, and maybe Daizo-Brushogun (debatable) are all close contenders imo.

She’s probably far more powerful than she even realizes and just hasn’t really honed her magical abilities yet or fully pushed herself to go beyond basic spellcasting. She can probably do much more than what she displayed but just doesn’t know how because she hasn’t practiced with it

I personally believe the white monster is the strongest character in the show other than maybe Larry if you ascribe to him as the embodiment of the writers. But the white monster isn’t the strongest villain specifically because it’s not a being with malicious intent; it’s a concept or universal truth as it were. As was mentioned in the video, the white monster is a metaphor for change, and because of that its presence is only that when it’s absolute necessary for change and then promptly leaves having fulfilled its purpose. “Things Change” was a fitting end to the series imo. The writers had changed, the Teen Titans had grown up, and the show was set to end. For the majority of the audience, like myself, as a kid following the titans as we got older, it was a positive reminder that things will change and that’s alright. What a great show!

Literally it doesn’t hav magic at all, and it can’t survive magic, reality warping, avoid being teleported, frozen in time, erase from existenc, etc. and it literally can’t do anything to them.

My ranking always had Malchior as #2 or #3 behind Trigon and possibly another villain whose name I forget. Major mistake to bring him back at all, as there was no reasonable way to take him down besides his book or Raven's dad, so anything they decided to do would have fans of his episode rightly going "wait what?" lol

@@Telcontar86 Exactly. Herald "beating" Malchior that easy means that either all the core titans are weak as hell, or Herald could have shown up and insta-stomped every threat in the show. Hence my mental gymnastics to try and resolve those plot holes. I also always had Malchior as #2, at least until I thought about his teachings being what allowed Raven to actually unlock the form she used against Trigon to begin with.

She can banish people to other dimensions even in her blue form, she can travel to other dimensions or planets, and gain power or technology, she can summon mystical forces form other planets or dimensions, she is untouchable in her soul self, she has telekinesis, she has her demon form, she has empathy and telepathy, and trigon despite losing much of his power traveling to earth was still extremely endurant, and could make starfire beast boy and cyborg fight their evil clones, so good who else knows what he can do, especially if he didn’t lose much of his power. And white raven is supposed to be more powerful than trigon/ravens demon form. Raven had lots of spells before malchior teached her spells, and trigon lost much of his power from traveling to earth which is why he didn’t erase the titans with a thought and why the titans were able to damage him, and why raven at the end was able to beat him with no effort, even if she is in her white form it would take some effort. And also before you ask why if trigon was so powerful why couldn’t he make the portal himself, he probably could, but he was imprisoned by the ring of azar. Raven in her blue form can use her telekinesis on malchior, banish him to another dimension, turn into her soul self so he can’t attack her, use the spells she already knows, like in fractured she had a book of azar, and she said mixing her powers with Larry would break the dimensions barriers, which goes to show even blue raven in the cartoon has reality warping powers. And also who knows what other spell books she has other than the book of azar, she even said “a book of azar isn’t something to mess with” Also she can hit malchior directly with her attacks instead or trying to block his fire breath with her attacks. Also I’m pretty sure she probably could make lightning in her blue form even without her spells. Demon form raven would be way more powerful than malchior, even if she had lost much of her power like trigon did. Again she can attack him directly instead of blocking his fire breath. Oh and also raven in her blue form can use empathy or telepathy to cancel malchior out. And also trigon is more endurant and physically stronger than malchior. Raven in her demon form would kill malchior easily. Lastly her white form, which is supposed to be more powerful than trigon. Trigon is extremely powerful even after losing much of his power, so in her white form, even without her spells, or the spells malchior taught her, malchior is no match for her. I don’t think any of the powers raven used in her white form malchior taught her, most of them she can probably do in her blue form without her spells. Raven with empathy, telepathy, soul self, telekinesis, attacking him directly with her telekinetic construction, or with one of her spells or one of the spells malchior taught her, can defeat him. Demon raven and white raven destroy malchior. Oh and also I don’t think malchior strengthened her magic either, and if he did, he didn’t strengthen it a lot, because ravens magic didn’t kill trigon faster, despite him losing most of his power.
