The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

I always enjoyed Sarah’s dancing, she always danced maturely for her age (as in she’s composed and technically proficient). She’s just pleasant to watch. Hard to believe she’s a mini with that technique

I didnt notice the first time I watched this but you’re right! They just shoved ‘maddie’ in there! Especially considering how they changed the shot to not show Abby talking at the end of her sentence. Abby probably said ‘dance intended for jojo’ but they edited over it

she might of originally said chloe and then dubbed maddie over it because this was at the beginning of s5 and they probably had dances planned out for chloe but because she didn't come back in s5 they gave that solo to jojo and then sarah

dshae It’s just the technique. You can’t see her flawed technique because you’re not a dancer, but the judges are professional dancers and they really judge all the aspects of the routine and dance, counting (as one of the principals) technique.

Random opinion: Thats strange to me.. how the moms are for sarah and saying thats wrong to jess.. to do that but fast foward to years later... When jill and jess mess with brynn thats okay..?? &.holly, melissa or kira don't back brynn up.. I get holly is one of the most unproblematic moms on dance moms & melissa outta all the moms should get how brynn feels bcuz maddie used to get picked on by the moms during the early seasons of dance moms.. but them..not defending brynn and not..telling jill and jess to stop is just not okay... It's selective outrage in my opinion... Show or not.. Those tears from Brynn were obviously real!

I feel that JoJo is a beautiful dancer, but in my opinion I believe she is more of like a hip hop dancer, or a jazz dancer. I believe she can do lyrical but I just personally believe that she is better at the other two, especially since she has a lot of energy which is great.

Sarah had the potential to be a pretty good dancer. She had decent technique and beautiful expression. She just needed to work on her flexibility and make a few adjustments and she would have become so good! But obviously Christy kept opening her mouth 😂👄

100% agree, Jojo’s technique and Sarah’s technique were not even in the same stratosphere. I never understood why Abby kept Jojo and Jess around because from day one, she had to change Jojo’s solo and her mother was just plain rude. I know Christy was a handful but Sarah was the stronger dancer in my opinion

@@emilywalters8273 I think they probably thought Sarah was way too shy and boring. Jojo was literally the only girl on the show who wasn't afraid to speak her mind and they wanted a girl like that ig. Her jazz is great but dainty dances aren't her strong suit
