My s5 v8 sounded unreal with a non res x pipe in ace of baby res, and straight piped after that. Got more looks than my crazy loud decat S4 3.0T

NGL when i saw the akrapovic and the a5 i was like no way.. BUT WHEN IT FUCKING UNLEASHED holy fuck.. that was insane. I have an A5 Tfsi petrol 2.0 and it already sounds pretty good even some mild pops n bangs I'm really interested to hear what it would sound like if I did something like this. I can only imagine how loud it would be as its already somewhat loud even tho its stock!

I have Swirl flap/EGR/DPF Delete also but that straight through is to loud you will just get a Pull all the time …. I do like the work done though 👍

Did you do yours in the end? mines straight piped with DPF gutted but cat still in. Wanting to put a downpipe on it but same as you worried about mot 🤔

This sounds ace 👌 Is it any cheaper to just have factory exhaust modified? or would you always advise to have one made up that way you can always just bold it up in place. Thanks

Mate your guy must have done a dpf delete as well as the the straight pipe because I have pretty much the exact same engine on my A6 with an almost identical custom straight pipe except with quad tips and it sound nothing like this and no where near as loud. Could you clarify if the difference was deleted too?
