I think Brennan Johnson is not a thinking footballer...he is too anxious with his oases and his choices to pass the ball he is unsure....he needs to relax more on the pitch...

100%. This season he's just been a faster, most expensive Bryan Gil. Both are underperforming, but I feel Johnson still has scope for improvement whereas Gil I'm not convinced.

Johnson is a Championship player, why the club spent £47 million on him is baffling when we could have had Diaby or Kudus for cheaper, plus much better players.

The main reason we lost at Brighton was that too few players moved into space to receive the ball. Most were static and waited for the ball to reach them resulting in it being intercepted, leaving us flat footed and chasing. Also the passing accuracy was pretty bad. We just weren't playing for/helping each other out. It was a real shame.

The standard of passing was appalling. The entire display was a total shambles. I hear people saying that Brighton played well. No they didn't. Their finishing was woeful. They repeatedly gave the ball away cheaply in their own half. They were poor, Tottenham were just awful. Without Romero/van de Ven Tottenham's midfield and defenders are nowhere near good enough to be playing the endless sideways and backwards passing style in and around their own penalty area that every team in the world now seems to play.

Ange is scared to play them, he would rather stick with Emerson and Davies who have conceded 7 goals in two games this season whilst playing together, so much for giving youth a chance, while Brighton has an 18 year old right back scoring against us.

If we start Skipp it just shows how shallow our squad is. He is just another Winks, and is a holding mid-fielder. This type of player is ineffective and doesn't suit Angeball

If i see Emerson and Davies together i don't have any hope against an in form Solanke even with Alex Scott who looked great the last game for Bournemouth, Ange needs to grow a pair and play Phillips or Dorrington otherwise what's the point of having an academy.

Skipp can get better, can become a significant part of squad, dodgyberg just ain't a technically good enough footballer in tight positions. Spurs need to be careful against Christie - tenacious and technically excellent. Knock him out of the game and Bournemouth become reliant on longer balls.

Skipp has not progressed he simply is not good enough. Need a win tomorrow and players to step up their game especially johnson and son we need alot more from then. Been disappointed with johnson he needs to beat his man not pass back all the time also his finishing is poor

Johnson has missed sitters also and is not clinical himself, one goal in how many appearances? Gil is absolute crap sell him back to Spain, runs around like a headless chicken then loses the ball, even Son has had to have a go at him on few occasions now.

How you guys can put ... and rate ... Skipp over PEH, an established and experienced international, I don't know. Skipp tries but is technically poor, can only pass sideways and backwards and is Championship level at best.

Peh lol - no composure and terrible first touch. When he starts we struggle.... Slows down the game, plays hospital balls when under pressure and gives the ball away for fun.
