@@unkind78 Ah yes it's on wikipedia, that automatically makes it true. Legally it's called Pantera, sure. And the reason for it are the suits. To get a tour that big going they would never take the risk and let the band call themselves CFH or something. The musicians (both inside and outside the band) however are saying that it's a tribute. Vinnie's estate, which gave the crucial OK for all of this said the same.

My Pantera 2001 shows will always be the final PANTERA concert. This clearly isnt Pantera, no matter what anyone says, so I'll be there to enjoy Phil & Rex crush a headlining set of Pantera tunes with some of the Abbotts best friends. Should be fun, wont change anything about my final Pantera concert in 2001

"DOWN TUNED": That's exactly what I've thought about this from the very beginning, and thank you for saying it!!! I was lucky enough to get to see them twice during the '90s, but I'm sure that others that wanted to did not get the chance, and neither did anyone else that may have discovered them after their split in 2000, so this is much needed. I know that Dime and Vinnie are both gone, but this was/is an important band, and has been to me since 1990, and I just want more people to experience their music. I know Zakk and Charlie are not Dime and Vinnie, but they are both bada*s mofos.

I am. Have 2 tickets to pantera in Phoenix September 2023. First saw them in abq 96' my second concert ever. Best concert year of my life, pantera, white zombie, kid rock, Metallica, Tupac, notorious big, korn. Deep bass with mad lyrics. Pimp

Me! It's still Pantera, as the gods have blessed us with this new lineup so we may hear their songs live once again. Every Pantera fan worldwide should enjoy it, as it is a gift from the gods. I have seen pantera live. Greatest moment ever at a concert. This isn't pantera. You can't call it pantera when the two main music writers aren't there. Enjoy the show but if you think watching zakk wylde playing is the same, you aren't a real fan.

I have to admit that the work of Benante on drums and Wilde on guitar is totally remarkable, since they have never wanted to replace Paul and Dime at any time, but rather have played with their style. Bravo for them!

Don't get me wrong I wa all for the tribute at first, then I saw some live footage online and they are straight up butchering the songs man, the difference in quality is night and day to what it used to be, Phil can't do the pantera vocals justice anymore and even though Zakk is a awesome guitarist he is messing up the solo's in incredible fashion

@@Norman-Bates Rather got nothing then. Phil is a shadow of what he used to be on vocals. Zakk is not tight enough for Dimebag riffs. Charles doesn’t have the chops Vinnie brought to the table. And Rex is the only glue holding this monstrosity together. And that’s not even mentioning the controversy around Phil. You just can’t replace the brothers, you can’t. That’s like replacing lady gaga with yoko ono.

The show was awesome last year in Daytona and I can't wait to see the show tomorrow in Tampa, I couldn't be more excited about any other band coming to play. Don't listen to the haters it's a kick ass show and the perfect way to honor the lost by celebrating thru music.

I've had the privilege to see you guys 6 times with my first time being back in 94' when i was 14yo and even though I got my head split open 20 minutes into the show by some guy stage diving when his teeth hit the edge of my temple and I bled like a stuck pig for the rest of the show and needed 16 stitches afterwards it was the best concert of my life. 🤘 But no I won't be attending any of these shows, just bc and no disrespect to Phil and Rex, but no matter who you get to fill in it will _Never Be The Same_ without Dime and Vinny. 🤷♂ Like Alice in Chains without Layne, the magic just won't be there. 😞
